Joie Nitro LX Stroller **REVIEW**

AD – A Lightweight stroller is just a must as your little babies get that little older. Hubby and I knew we would need a new one for Piglet as the gremlin’s was completely trashed. We were given the chance to review the Joie Nitro LX Stroller in a lovely mulberry colour from Kiddies Kingdom.

More About the Joie Nitro LX Stroller

Kiddies Kingdom Joie stroller

This stroller can actually be used from birth, as the seat can be reclined to flat but as Piglet was born in September, she stayed in her warmer pram for a little while.

These are some of the listed features

  • Birth to 15kg
  • Lightweight umbrella chassis – the whole product weighing 7.66kg
  • Easy and compact fold
  • Full and flexible comfort recline
  • One hand recline mechanism
  • Ergonomic foam handles
  • Removable, adjustable hood
  • Adjustable leg support
  • Harness covers
  • Shopping basket
  • Convenient carry strap
  • All round suspension
  • Lockable front swivel wheels

We did wait a little while for Piglet to use the stroller, mainly due to the cold weather and we wanted her to be able to sit up. She is one of those babies who gets a bit stroppy lying in her pram.

What Did we Think?

I was impressed.

Little girl in the Joie

The stroller is easy to collapse and fold and as it is pretty light, I could quite easily pick it up and put in the boot of the car. It also feels very easy to push; so light, so you can really walk quickly with it when in a hurry. It is also easy to strap your little one in.

The colour of the stroller is really eye catching and I like the handle bar across the front. Piglet also enjoys grabbing hold of this. It reclines with no issues and Piglet has enjoyed a few snoozes. She appears comfortable and happy in it.

The hood is good for providing some shelter from the rain and some of the sunshine. I have to stress though, you are likely to need a parasol when it’s very sunny, as the hood does not completely cover Piglet’s face.

Overall I was happy with the product. For a stroller you want it to be light, convenient and comfortable for your child. This Joie stroller ticks all those boxes.

Looks brilliant. Thankfully we’re getting to the stage where pushchairs won’t be needed for much longer but I love the look of this one. Lightweight strollers are fantastic for going on holiday and those long wait arounds at airports!
