Silly Billyz Messy Eater Bib **REVIEW**

I have been a lot more laid back with Piglet and her eating and this results in a LOT more mess. She is a nightmare at keeping over-the-head bibs on and therefore gets very messy.

I was offered the chance to review a bib from Silly Billyz and was very keen, as there is a large range on offer.

About Silly Billyz

This online company provide a range of baby equipment ranging from bibs, to hooded towels, hats, aprons, blankets, comforters and swaddle wraps.

There is also an option to choose an organic product, if you prefer.

What Did I Choose?

As I mentioned, I was definitely in the market for a new bib for Piglet so I chose a Messy Eater Bib –  in Cerise Towel, This retails at £9.95 and ranges from age 6  months to 3 years of age.

The bib covers the child’s front down to the knees. Clever side press studs clip together to create a food catching pocket to help with messy mealtimes.

The bib can be chosen in cuddly fleece as well as snuggly towel. They both have a water-resistant nylon backing and the Snuggly Towel range has the clever snuggle neck guard, which sits snug against your baby’s neck to stop dribbles and spills.

Our Verdict?

This bib was fab. It completely covered little Piglet and protected all her clothes from mess. I gave her some strawberries which usually go all over the neck of her clothes. The bib kept her neckline pristine.

The bib was easy to put on with poppers and a tie. It was quite big on little Piglet as goes up to 3 years. We managed to roll up her sleeves so that was easy to get around.

The front of the bib is really nice and soft and the colour lovely.

She seemed really comfortable and happy and ate normally.

Overall I was impressed. I never bought a bib like this for the gremlin and wish I had! I reckon I would have a lot less clothes in the bin with massive stains!

Thumbs up!

Nice prize. Good to have a variety of bibs, as need for practicality in use and also washing / laundering. Type of bib shown reminds me of children’s art aprons :- I worked in a children’s nursery some years ago. We had art aprons which were waterproof, the children used them when painting pictures, etc.
