The Very Hungry Caterpillar Bundle **REVIEW**

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It is truly one of those timeless classics that is almost 50 years old! The gremlin has the original book and we found a TV version to watch and some other stories by Eric Carle. She loved it when she was smaller. Apparently a copy of the book is sold somewhere every 30 seconds.

Little Piglet is following suit and we are so pleased when we were asked to showcase and review some amazing new products featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

I’ll go though some of the fab things we have received. They will be brilliant for gift ideas, especially with Christmas being on its way!

Where is the Very Hungry Caterpillar Book?

I love the take on this book as it is perfect for smaller children and babies. It is a lift the flap book and you are trying to find the Hungry Caterpillar, finding other hiding creatures along the way. My little 1 year old loves it and enjoys lifting the flaps as I read to her. RRP £7.99 and available from all good bookshops.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Developmental Toy

This toy is suitable for babies from birth and is a brilliant, interactive Hungry Caterpillar. Developmental features include jingle bell rattle, squeak and crinkle sounds, textured beads and fabrics, and printed label tags. We wrapped this up for my daughter for her birthday! RRP £14.99 and is available from Amazon, Debenhams and Kiddicare.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Melamine Sectional Tray

I love this as my kids adore their “picky lunches”. It’s fab to section out their food and some kids are not so keen on food being mixed. This sectional tray is perfect for this and I love the design. RRP £8 and available from Portmeirion.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Happy Tin

I love the tin as you can keep it for bits and pieces afterwards. Inside you will find felt pens, 50 stickers and 3 activity and colouring books. It RRPs at £16.99 and is available from Asda, Debenhams, Amazon, HMV, Tesco, The Works and Sainsbury’s

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Press Out and Play

This is really cute. You can colour in the card pieces, press them out and then slot them together to make animals from the  Eric Carle stories. It comes with 6 crayons and press-out pieces to create 7 animal models. This RRPs at £4.99 and is available from Debenhams, Amazon, WHSmith and Toys ‘R Us.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Let’s Explore

I love all the activity books and this is going to be fab for my eldest on a rainy day when she’s not at school. You meet The Very Hungry Caterpillar and find your way through a munching maze, make a caterpillar door
hanger, spot the difference between the ladybirds and lots more! Included is animal stampers and ink pad to decorate the pages and create your own pieces of art. It RRPs at £4.99 and is available from Debenhams, Amazon and Sainsbury’s.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Placemats Pad

I totally love this idea for taking to restaurants and eating out. Sometimes you need something to keep the kids busy and this is perfect. They can colour and do activities and the perforated pages make it easy to keep any creations. It RRPs at £9.99 and is available at The Works.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar 2018 Family Calendar

Another beautiful calendar to keep track of all the family dates but this one is smaller. It RRPs at £9.99 and is available from  The Calendar Club and Amazon.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Age Cards

These are perfect for any Very Hungry Caterpillar fans and make a really unique birthday card. I’ve got a 1 year old with his name on one already. These RRP at £2.25 and are available from any independent card and gift shops.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar – Cloudy Apple Drinks

My gremlin is a bit of a nightmare to get fruit into and although I don’t like relying on juices, I do now and then. These apple drinks are made from 50% pressed fruit shaken up with water, Juiced by Cawston press, Contains 50% fruit juice, School approved, Not from concentrate, No added sugar – naturally occurring sugar from fruit, No sweeteners, colours or preservatives. They RRP at £1.89 for 3 x 200ml and are vvailable from Waitrose, Ocado and Tesco.

This is such an awesome bundle of stuff for varying ages. It really brings The Very Hungry Caterpillar to life and I would recommend for gifts for your little ones.
