AD – Pets are a bit of a no go in our household. Hubby and I are both allergic to cats and dogs. The gremlin isn’t at the age where she cares too much but I’m giving her a few years. In the meantime anything that can be a substitute is gratefully received! We were given the chance to review a Little Live Pet – My Dream Kitten Cuddles and I knew my eldest would just love it. These are recommended for ages 4 and up and currently retail at £54.99.

This cute toy kitten, known as Cuddles, loves to be loved. It moves, cuddles and responds like a real kitten. Tickle under the chin or pat it’s back and it will behave differently for you.
It’s a really cute little pet; perfect for a little one who may be in the same situation as my daughter!

Playing with Kitten Cuddles from Little Lives
My gremlin loved feeding her kitten. If you place her nose by the dish she would make drinking sounds until she was full.
When Cuddles got sleepy you can lie her down on her side and she will fall asleep. Her sleepy sounds and wagging tail is really sweet. If you also leave her for a while she will fall asleep too.
If you leave Cuddles sat up she meows for you attention like a real cat.
She is so cute to cuddle and pet as well. If you stroke Cuddle’s back her tail wags and she purrs. I also love how she nuzzles when you stroke her cheek.
Cuddle’s loves attention and will sometimes cry out and ask for feeding, cuddling, sleep or back petting. She will reward you will a secret phrase.
She also comes with an adorable adoption certificate.
What we Thought?
The gremlin thought Cuddles was lovely. She loved feeding her and petting her. I like how she comes with batteries and very clear instructions. There is some good trouble shooting too. Sometimes we struggled to get Cuddles to make a lapping sound near her bowl but we realised we were not bringing her nose close enough.
My eldest loved cuddling her and petting her.
She is very cute and if you cannot have a cat like us(!) this would be a very good substitute as is lovely and soft and very realistic. I love how her head moves and eyes close. Her purring is adorable too.
She is quite pricey at £55 and this is quite steep. Although my daughter played with Cuddles, this didn’t last as long as other toys we have received. She is more of child who enjoys her dollies, so this may be more appropriate for children who love animals. Has to be worth it for you.
Overall she is a lovely toy and those who love animals and cats will find her very cute and very realistic.
She is very much like the Luvabella Doll we reviewed. So realistic!!
