Saltrock Knitwear REVIEW

Autumn is firmly upon us now and this means boots, coats and snuggly knitwear. I’m always sad to see the summer go but always love this time of year.

I was asked by Saltrock to review an item from their knitwear range, which was perfect timing. I have already reviewed some of their other lines previously and liked their stuff.

About Saltrock

If you haven’t read my previous post here is a little more information about the company.

Saltrock started in the 80s with two brothers who loved to surf. The company is named after their favourite surf break back home in South Africa. The boys settled in North Devon and started selling the tees straight away. The rest is history!

This is quoted by the brothers on the website:

“Still run by the original team, we design for the lifestyle we love – fun, creativity and laughter is the lifeblood of Saltrock. We love the British coastline and all it has to offer, were passionate about having the freedom to express ourselves and we surf till the sun goes down (when we get the chance!).”

What Did I Pick?

I love the look of knitwear, so cosy and warm and I decided to go for the Saltrock Women’s Sea Pea Knitted Hooded Cardigan in beige. It is currently retailing at £35.99 and comes in sizes 8 to 18. You can see an image of this from the website below.

It has a classic cable knit body with a fir lined hood and wooden toggle fastenings. It’s 85.8% Acrylic, 14.2% Wool and the Lining: 100% Polyester.

My Thoughts

I love this sweater! I ordered a smaller size this time, as previously found some of the clothes a little roomy! I chose a size 8, instead of my usual 10 and it fitted perfectly. I love the wooden toggles as they remind me of being a little kid.

It’s not a thick, heavy cardigan so perfect for layering and you can comfortably fit your coat over the top. I liked the slim fit of it and it was warm and comfortable.

If you are going to treat yourself to some warm, knitwear for the season, definitely head over the Saltrock and check out some of their stuff!

Disclosure – I was provided with this item free of charge in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
