BioCell Facial Masks REVIEW

BioCell Facial Masks REVIEW

AD- I have to admit I’m not the best at looking after my skin and having a good skincare routine. I tend to use a facial wash which is pretty good and then I moisturise. I know I could do a little better now and then but it is really all about time. However, I do like having a pamper session now and then. BioCell Facial Masks may change this!

I think parents deserve 30 minutes peace now and then, avoiding the incessant callings of “Mummy”, don’t you agree?

What best way to be pampered is to use a face mask?

More About Biocell Facial Masks

I was very kindly sent 4 facial masks by Biocell to trial and I was very keen to see how my skin would feel. The masks I was sent were:

Anti-ageing mask – this is a thin fabric mask, aiming for younger looking skin. The components distribute themselves uniformly on the skin. The mask contains hyaluronic acid to promote collagen production and provide moisture. There is Co-enzyme Q10 to protect from environmental damage and smooth fine lines.

Regenerating face mask – the mask is particularly suitable for sensitive skin. It also contains hyaluronic acid, soybean oil and six vegetable extracts. Using this mask on a regular basis will ensure a good skin condition, and special Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide Compound will help slow down the ageing process and protect against the harmful effects of the sun.

Moisturising Hyaluronic acid face mask –  this mask contains hyaluronic acid, Pseudoalteromonas Antarctica enzyme extract, Pueraria lobata, Astragali extracts and natural oils. It helps to maintain moisture balance but also immediately tightens pores and provides elasticity of the skin. The mask is suitable for all skin types, all year round.

Bright soothing eye mask – this quick-impact soothing eye mask moisturises, smoothes fine wrinkles, and lightens dark circles under the eyes. Hyaluronic acid in the eye mask effectively restores the balance of moisture, nourishes, and keeps the skin supple and pure.

Taken from online, “The “Biocell” worldview shares many similarities with Eastern philosophy, and is based around the idea that true beauty can only be created by Nature, following Nature’s rules.”

Biocell has been created for lifestyle conscious women. They want women to love themselves and appreciate their natural beauty and individuality.

I was looking forward to trying the masks out.

They range from £4.99 – £5.99 and can be purchased on their eBay store and found on Amazon.

What Did I Think?

I decided to try the moisturising Hyaluronic face mask and my skin can get a bit dry sometimes.

The mask does recommend you do a patch test first, just to check for allergies, so I did this and had no issues.

I took all my make-up off and opened the mask and you do actually get a mask, covered in the moisturising mask liquid.

You peel off the plastic protective film and put the mask on your face directly. It is quite cold when it first touches the face, so be prepared for that.

You then have to ensure the mask is distributed evenly over the face and massage gently, so the mask is pressed on the skin.

It stays on for 15-20 mins. You can see below what is is like. Little Piglet kept crying when she saw me!! I didn’t sit and chill as tried it on before bath time and had the kids running riot. I could see and breathe with no issues but kept my face still, so no laughing lots.

After the time is up, you peel the mask off and massage any liquid into your face; you don’t have to wash it off, which is good. Sometimes with other masks I have used, this is the part I don’t enjoy as much.

Afterwards, my face did feel nice and soft and I asked my eldest to have a feel and she agreed! I think this mask would be perfect for use after a busy week at work, or a night out, especially in the colder months, where your skin can get so dried out from the cold and heating. I also think when you feel hot and bothered and stressed, these would be perfect.

I thought the mask was lovely and refreshing and did leave my face feeling nice and soft. It is recommended you use two a week, so it would be interesting to see what my face would be like after using one regularly.

I enjoyed using my mask think if you are after some different, hydrating and worthwhile, give Biocell face masks a try. There is plenty of choice, depending on what your skin needs are.

Disclosure – I was sent these masks from Biocell to trial and compensated for my time. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love a good mask! I place my little foil packs in tepid water for a bit to ward off that initial toe curling shock, lol. Nice review.
