Back to some scrapping as I miss it with all the writing! However it is nice to have more than one hobby. I’d said in my last scrapbooking post that I wasn’t going to to do Christmas pages but I do still have some Christmas pictures left. However, I decided not to use Christmas colours. I thought I would get out my cutting machine; my Silhouette Cameo and after scouring Pinterest for some free cutfiles (I’m a cheapskate), I really liked the look of a star one I found here – starcutfile
I really love backing cutfiles with patterned paper. This was an idea I got from an amazing US scrapbooker Paige Evans. I’ve STILL got supplies from my USA stash so backed the stars with papers from the American Crafts Shimelle Collection,
I picked two pictures with myself, my Mum and the gremlin writhing to get away from us and arranged them in either corners. I backed them with paper, doilies and some bits from my stash, See supply list. I entitled the page “Oh Blah No Picture Today Please”. I love using different coloured Thickers on one page but I definitely love using black as they really stand out.
Journalling reads, “Would she pose? Would she heck? Ah well you’re still goregous!”
