Time for some more scrapbooking and papercrafts. I’m still loving the HipKitClub scrapbook kits I got earlier in the month. I think this is because if I’m being honest, I probably wouldn’t have picked some of the supplies by myself. I’m really surprised by what I’m managing the churn out! Using the February kit and a few of my own supplies I decided to scrap a couple of pictures of my gremlin out walking. This was over Christmas and one of her first walks out with Daddy.
I was using a strange 12×12 piece of cardstock by We R Memory Keepers that looked like it was covered in French Doors. It’s a very busy background! I had another 12×12 sheet covered in circles which I hand cut out and arranged in 2 circles, one inside another, using a plate as a template!
I backed the photos using some of my own Bazzil Basics cardstock and arranged these in the centre. I cut out “Today is full of Promise” from My Minds Eye – Jubilee Wild Berry – Inked paper and added this to the centre. I arranged some of the of the My Minds Eye – Jubille Wild Berry Die cuts; including some numbers and a “Oh my” speech bubble. I added a few of my own bits including a flower, buttons and an “amazing” wood veneer from The Works and used my Heidi Swapp alphabet stickers to spell out “Teeny Tiny Steps”.
Below is the final result!
Lovely scrapbook page and I love all the little bits you've added too 🙂
That looks lovely, so bright and fun, and a lovely moment captured, too. Great to be trying out new things you might not have chosen for yourself, too. Thanks so much for sharing with #PaperyPeep x
That looks great, it's very therapeutic isn't it and a great way to record such a momentous event #paperypeep
This is fantastic! I wish I had your creativity with paper.
