Japanese Nappies **REVIEW**

I am always keen to try new nappies and when offered Japanese Nappies, was intrigued.

The gremlin is doing amazingly well going without nappies in the day. She is dry and we have never had an accident at home since she started. She is however, still very reluctant to do a poo in the potty or toilet and she asks for her nappy to poo, does the deed and asks to be changed. In true gremlin form, she has the control but is not letting that one go just yet. This is fine with us. It will come and is no real effort for any of us.

She is very wet still at night, which is partially our fault, as she does have a lot of fluid before bed. In time this is something we will phase out and we may try and gently wake her for a wee when we come to bed. We will see.

More About Japanese Nappies

These nappies are currently sold on Amazon (as we have Prime this is easy peasy). The gremlin was sent the Japanese diapers panties Moony PBL Girl, designed for 12-17kg. They have wetness indicators and the lining is very soft, allowing for comfort.  The nappy surface is also designed to allow no wetness on your little one’s skin.

I actually just loved the packaging! The picture on the front was quite like the gremlin which made me giggle. They were bright, eye-catching and colourful. Obviously all the instructions were in Japanese but the size guide was clear and there isn’t that much you need to read about nappies.

The nappies themselves looked brill. They are actually a pull-up panty! The fascinated the gremlin and she asked if she could wee in these nappies. I reassured her yes at night. They had a frilly, girly appearance, were very stretchy, allowing for movement and the gremlin assured us she was comfortable. Hubby was really impressed as we got her ready for bed.

The gremlin still has her milk before bed and so the test of time would be the morning. Hopefully she would last through the night with no leaks. It was near impossible to get a picture of my wriggly daughter wearing the nappy but she headed off to bed as usual.

Our Thoughts on Japanese Nappies

No leaks or issues from the gremlin; the nappies kept her dry all night long. What is also pretty useful perk to the nappy, is a sticky bit to wrap it up after taking off and secure it, to ensure no leakage when disposing of it. See the picture below.

I was really impressed with the product and the gremlin was really excited to wear her new nappies for the second night in a row. They are comfy, attractive and best of all don’t leak. Definitely worth a try.

I was provided this product free of charge in exchange for a review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
