Fascol Folding Scooter **REVIEW**

The gremlin can be a bit of a lazy bum sometimes and we have got a scooter for her but not the best one. She has been on it but struggles to push it along.

When I was contacted to review a Fascol scooter, we were really keen. We hoped it would be something she would be able to practice at and use a lot during the summer months.

The gremlin was sent the flashing wheel scooter in pink, which is recommended for 3 years up to 17 years, so she can get some good use out of it.  It can be easily adjusted depending on height and folded easily for storage and carrying.  It has flashing anti-abrasive and anti-shock wheels. It is also pretty good, as come with protective knee and arm pads.

The gremlin was pretty excited when it arrived and was scooting all around the kitchen. It glides much more easily than her other and she found it easier to work it. You will have to excuse her face. What is it they say? Don’t work with children or animals?

As the weather has been pretty shocking recently, it took us ages to actually go to the park to test it out. As the scooter folds, it was easy to either carry it or shove it in the bottom of the buggy. It was easy to adjust and get it to the correct height for my girly.

The gremlin really enjoyed herself and had a good scoot around before diving off to the park. She found it glided much better than her previous one, even outside, so she wasn’t getting as tired and therefore complaining as much. We explained to her how to work the break at the back and she seemed to understand.

As she is three, she did need a little help steering, as with this scooter you kind of lean to each side and move the handles to steer from left to right. I think this will take a little practice, as she never looks where she is going and stares at the floor. Often she was veering a little to the left and getting cross. Time will tell and hopefully with some sunshine and some scooting time she can up her game!

I loved the way it lit up at the back as she rode along the path. A pretty good extra feature.

I think this scooter will really get some use as she gets a little older and we are out and about more at the park. It’s robust, nippy and light. I reckon zipping around the corner on it to school in September may be on the cards.

Disclosure – this scooter was provided in exchange for a honest review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
