Illumibowl **REVIEW**

I like gadgets.

I also get up for a loo in the night, mainly as my two girls tend to wake me up. Kids! Who would have them eh?

So put these two things together and what am I talking about. Illumibowl. A fabulous little device that can make your life a lot easier at night when stumbling around for the toilet.

It does as it sounds; illuminates the toilet bowl so you can see where you are going when you need to spend a penny.

It fits very neatly under the toilet bowl and is activated by motion. It is pretty sensitive too and can detect motion up to a few metres. You can set it quite simply to light up in one colour, or it cycle through the eight available. It can be dimmed to suit your preference too. After you have finished and gone, the light switches off after two minutes.

It also automatically stays off if there is any light to save the batteries.

So what did we think?

It is VERY cool.

We were going to place it in the toilet where my little one goes in the night but the light from her sister’s nightlight kept it off. We decided to keep it for ourselves and put it in the en suite.

It really made a difference, as I am often feeling for the sink, which is next to the toilet, so I know where I am. It would be very useful for anyone who struggled a bit and was at risk of tripping or falling in the night. No one wants to switch the main light on, for fear of waking themselves and others up.

I loved the variety of colours and the glow the light gave. It made a very pleasant bathroom break during the night. I did like how it could be dimmed too.

As I said, it is just nifty! Imagine your visitors? They would love it and be suitably impressed with your bathroom facilities.

And you lovely readers are in luck!
