Christmas Gift Guide – Young Girls

Christmas Gift Guide – Young Girls

It’s now time for the girl’s Christmas Gift Guide. I love shopping for my gremlin, as she is at that age when she is really excited for Santa and Christmas and has some definite ideas of what she will like! I love Christmas for the children, watching them open their presents and its’ a perfect time for taking pictures with some Christmas Photography Backdrops for Children. They make it so festive and you can capture some memories.

But I know my girls will be all about the presents. Not all these toys are exclusively for girls but as I have two, I’m aiming it at girls.

Here are some of my ideas this Christmas .

1 – A Colouring Poster from MoCoLoCo Design

My eldest has really started getting in crafts and colouring and she has improved so much!! MoCoLoCo Design provide giant posters to colour in. These posters were designed, as helps to bring children away from screens and gets them engaged in crafts and colouring. It is also a family activity too. When I saw these posters, I knew I would want to sit down and get stuck in as well.  You can eck out this item in their Etsy shop  https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/634578198/jumbo-london-adventure-colouring-poster

You can find out a little more on their Facebook page

2 – A Gift from Wannabees

Wannabees are educational role play packs for kids and as I don’t always like to get my gremlin a truck-load of toys, this gift is really unique for her. Each imaginative role play pack contains approximately 50 pages of forms, stickers and certificates and will allow children to act out fun tasks such as filling out appointment cards for their teddies, giving eye tests to their friends, taking the morning register with their action figures or even writing out school reports for Mummy and Daddy. I love how educational and social these packs are. My gremlin loves to play schools, so I know she will love! They are aimed at 5-11 year olds and retail at £14.99.

3 – Misguided Babe Power Pom Pom Gift Set from The Fragrance Shop

Now some people may say little ones are too young for perfume but if my eldest goes in my drawer one more time and steals mine, there are going to be some words! I decided that this year she could perhaps have some of her own and if she wasn’t mad on it, I’m sure I would be!  The fragrance is currently £25 at the Fragrance Shop and is described as to include a vibrant splash of grapefruit zest and sour cherry, sharpened with crisp apple and pink pepper. At its heart, orange blossom is accentuated with soft peony and jasmine for a succulent signature; while vanilla, creamy musk, playful candy floss and amber crystals. It comes with an owl Pom Pom keyring which I know my daughter will adore, so we shall see!

4 – Baby Wee Alex

My eldest still loves her dolls and she definitely likes ones that are interactive and realistic. Baby Wee Alex does exactly what is sounds like and is not for the faint hearted!! My girls love him!  As described online, Baby Wee Alex is the funniest baby. He’s always thirsty, so give him his water bottle and listen to him drink up. Now he needs his nappy changing. Open his nappy and … surprise! Alex will wee and giggle hysterically! Baby Wee Alex is very cheeky, he will tell you when he is thirsty and when he needs to wee! Alex comes with his own top, nappy and bottle. Rest assured he does wee and this often sprays all over you. This is hysterical for my 5 and 2 year old and has got them ready for the arrival of their baby brother for sure!! He needs 2 x AAA batteries and is aimed at children aged 3 years and up. You can get Baby Wee Alex from Smyths Toys and he is currently £19.99 at the time of publishing.

5 – A Reindeer Balloon Advent Calender

Ok, this isn’t officially a Christmas present but we are still in November, so you have time to get your hands on one of these awesome Reindeer Balloon Advent Calendars. The red balloons come pre-stuffed with a chocolate and just need inflating with a hand pump. There are 24 numbered reindeer shapes included, 24 pre-stuffed balloons and gold cord to help string them up! The calendar retails at £20 and I know my gremlin will be so excited when she sees it ready on December 1st.

6 – Snuggly Rascals Comfortable Headphones

My gremlin drives me potty turning up the iPad when we are chatting or her sister is watching the television and we are always telling her to put headphones in. Sometimes though, she doesn’t really want to wear, as moans they are uncomfortable. This is where Snuggly Rascals Comfortable Headphones would suit her down to the ground. These retail at £14.99 and have a snuggly, soft fleece fabric enclosing adjustable flat speakers that make the headphones perfect for travelling. They are machine washable and size adjustable, they are suitable for any size kid’s head. There are also lots of designs to choose from: unicorn, kitten, owl, penguin, monster or panda and come in fleece or cotton.

7 – Bowl and cutlery set

My gremlin still loves cute dinner sets and although she is five now, she still uses her sister’s crockery and cutlery all the time. This beautiful Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit Organic Dinner Set is from Gift Giving All Wrapped Up and retails at £22. It is so lovely and will make such a beautiful gift. Included is A plate: 21cm, Bowl: 14cm, Cup: 9cm and cutlery. It is dishwasher safe but not recommended for microwave use.

Gift Giving All Wrapped Up has a fab selection of gifts fro Christmas including Willow Tree and Snow Baby. There is also more Beatrix Potter and beautiful Disney Showcase figurines.

Definitely have a browse.

8 – A personalised cake from bakerdays

My gremlin is absolutely obsessed with cake and chocolate and I knew a personalised cake would be right up her street. Bakerdays offer next day delivery if you order by 2pm on that day and provide such a vast choice of personalised cakes for all occasions. Not only cakes, but cupcakes and balloons too! As we were getting a sample, prior to Christmas, I chose a photo cake for the gremlin to highlight how proud I was, as she got a headteacher award at school and has moved up a book level with her reading this half term. There are so many occasion cakes however, from birthdays to Christenings, to thank yous to baby showers.

A letterbox cakes comes in at 5 inches but sizing goes up at a large cake at 12 inches. There is also Victoria sponge, chocolate, lemon drizzle and gluten and dairy-free cake options. A letterbox cakes starts at £14.99 in price and you can see our personalised creation below!

9 – Play Dough Scrummy Shop from John Adams

This Play Dough Scrummy Shop from John Adams fab product aimed at children aged 3-6 years. There is a sturdy, non-stick play board which are illustrated and the allow the dough to be played on and turns into the background for the shop. It comes with three separate tubs of coloured dough as well as accessories including moulds and cutters so children can create their own shop!

I know my eldest will love this as she is obsessed with cake and has generally got very creative recently!

I hope this guide has given you a few more ideas! I think my gremlin has such a varied choice. Some delicious, some a little more grown-up and some she will love!!

Happy Christmas shopping all!

Love this posters. I have a photo of me when I’m about 7 with a poster I coloured in on holiday and did all mine in non-girlie colours and my sister did hers in traditional girlie pinks and purples. It’s dragged out every so often but it did keep us quiet when the weather wasn’t too good and we were stuck in.
