PAW Patrol Mighty Pups – Save Adventure Bay Game REVIEW | AD

Playing Paw Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay

My middley is a huge fan of Paw Patrol and my baby boy is following suit. They love all the adventures the pups go on and I must admit I get the theme tune in my head and constantly sing it! My middley’s Christmas list features a good few Paw Patrol pressies and when I heard about a new game: PAW Patrol Mighty Pups – Save Adventure Bay, I knew they would love to play!

We aren’t actually huge gamers in our house. My hubby plays but only on his PC, he doesn’t have a console and quite often he doesn’t have a lot of time!! However, I thought it would be a lovely way for him to spend some time with the girls and do something they both enjoy.

Getting Ready to Play with a PAW Patrol Party!

We were very excited for the launch of the new PAW Patrol Mighty Pups – Save Adventure Bay game and were very kindly sent some goodies for the girls to get prepared! We did some colouring:

We decorated some mini muffins.

I helped middley make a badge.

Then the girls finished off with some PAW Patrol game playing. This is always so competitive!!

The girls were really ready for some game playing on the PC.

The first thing you need to bear in mind is you need PC controllers. We didn’t realise this at first, as my hubby plays PC games and uses the keyboard usually. Make sure you have or you can’t play! I was actually glad to have these, as thought would be easier for the girls to get to grips with.

PC Controller

I was quite excited to see what the girls would make of this Paw Patrol game. They have never played anything like it before. My eldest is 7 and middley 4, so the game is a perfect match for them both.

My girls loved Pup Pup Boogie, which is similar to a dance mat and the move the control as instructed by the signs on the game. I quite liked this one too!

You can play alone or in 2 player mode, co-operatively which the girls loved.

We weren’t disappointed! I couldn’t get the girls off. In fact I was screaming at them to come and get in the bath!

It’s really kid friendly and self-explanatory. Each stage shows your little ones what to do and what controls to press to complete each mission. My middley at 4 did need someone to sit with her, as he she has never played with a control before. It was getting her used to moving forwards and learn how to jump and move at the same time to collect bones!

I liked how it was good for hand-eye co-ordination and following instructions. As I mentioned, you are told and shown on screen what to press and you have to follow.

There is no fighting or anything and it is very kid-friendly.

There is also plenty of animation and music for your little ones to watch and follow between games.

Our Thoughts!

I have to say I was so impressed. I had a play with my eldest who was hooked from the get go. She picked it up very quickly and was pretty good! I’m not usually a gamer but it was nice to spend to time with her and have a bit of banter.

For my middley, who loves Paw Patrol,  it was a great introduction into gaming for her and great to get her used to using a control. She will need some more practice but like everything, just takes some time. She enjoyed playing with her sister and learning a new skill!

The game is fab for Paw Patrol fans as involves all the characters, is full of the familiar music, sound and animations. All kids love a challenge, earning points and badges and my girls got very excited when their points started to add up.

I think it’s a lovely games for little ones to play, great for hand-eye co-ordination and learning to follow instructions. Also great for improving reaction times.

I’m really glad we had this opportunity to review it and introduce the girls to the world of gaming!

My 4 year old would love this! He’s into gaming like his big brother but all they play is Mario games. He loves Paw Patrol so I’m sure this game would be a big hit with him xx

This looks like such a fun game. We do have a house that loves gaming, and this looks like something my little one would love. I’m impressed by the clear instructions, and how you can unlock mini games. I think when things aren’t that clear, it’s a huge turn off for little ones who won’t have the patience to work it out – just yet. xx
