Holster Brand Products **REVIEW**

AD – I am always on the look out for nifty storage. Since we moved house we do have a lot more space and the house is generally a little tidier for this but still! I was recently given the opportunity to review some Holster brand products for around the house I was pretty keen!

I was sent three storage pouches; one designed for hot items like straighteners; the Hot Iron Holster. I was also sent 2 other Lil’ Holsters.

These work due to a specially formulated silicone which clings and sticks to non-porous, smooth surfaces (marble, glass, laminate, glass, wood and plastic are some examples) by removing the air between them. Both surfaces need to be dry and clean and the product can easily be removed. The are all heat resistant, with the hot iron product coping with 500 degrees Farenheit and the Lil’ Holsters can hit 250. They can be easily cleaned with soap and water.

So how did I use them?

The hot iron one I had to use as directed. I’m always worried about the gremlin touching my straighteners when they are hot so this little nifty pouch would be perfect. I always leave them on the floor or bed…oops.

The pouch attached easily to my wooden bedside table and I could fit my straighteners in with no problems.

A picture tells a thousand words so you can see above; the holder stuck with no issues and held my pretty old, fat GHDs without an issue. I was really impressed.

I decided to use one of the Lil’ Holsters in the kitchen and store my dish cloth and scourer in. Hubby always gets really annoyed with these sitting in the drainer and going near the clean dishes. They do get a bit manky eh? I dried the surface (marble) and stuck down the pouch. As you can see from the picture below, it worked like a treat.

The final Lil-holster was a thin-shaped one and I actually decided to use it for a few crafting stores by my dining room table. I lose my scissors and glue all the time when I am scrapbooking and it drives me nuts. I attached the pouch to my wooden window sill with no issues.

You can see below it worked perfectly for my crafting stores.

Overall, I was really impressed with the products. I think I will probably rotate them a little and use them for different storage, depending on what I need. I think one by the bed for my mobile or the TV remotes would also be a good one!

They stick well, fit in with the decor of the house and are extremely useful.

So if you are like me, want little homes for all your stuff or some safety when doing your hair give these Holster products a whirl!
