My eldest fell off her scooter not so long ago. She was beside herself and Grandad ended up carrying her and I ended up having a go on her scooter. I was hooked. It was so much fun. Scooters are most definitely not just for children. When I was offered the chance to review an adult scooter from www.Skates.co.uk I was thrilled. I was recommended the Frenzy 205mm Recreational scooter which currently retails at £99.95. This Frenzy scooter review will tell you more about the product and why you should invest too!
I love any form of activity and always want to try something new. This review has recently been re-published after an update. I have had my Frenzy adult scooter for 3 years now and used it to scoot to and from work for a good 6 months. I currently have very bad parking where I work, so made the decision to park further away and scoot in. The Frenzy adult scooter was perfect for this! Even when I was pregnant, I still managed for a good while.
The Frenzy Scooter Review – More About the Product
There are some real health and fitness benefits to scooting. It is a form of exercise which burns calories. It requires balance which helps to stabilise and strengthen your core and joints. If you scoot where there is a slight incline, the benefits will be even better; liken it to putting an incline on the treadmill. It’s a fab warm up if you scoot to the gym!
This Frenzy scooter has been designed with commuting in mind. The scooter folds down and can be carried as has a handy strap. The 205mm wheels have been designed for speed and comfort.
These are some of the specifications:
- Adjustable Bars with Comfort Bar Grips
- Easy Fold System
- Extruded Lightened Fender Brake
- 205mm 82A Wheels
- ABEC 7 Bearings
- Carry Strap
- Kick Stand
- Maximum Rider Weight: 100kg
Thoughts on this Adult Scooter
Hubby and I love the Frenzy Scooter! It is just so much fun and quite easy to scoot. There is a break at the back and I got the knack of this pretty quickly. The wheels are a perfect size to gain some speed but not too small, so you are flying and a bit scared! As it goes up to 100kg, hubby was fine to use it.
You can adjust the handlebars to suit your height quite easily and there is a kick stand underneath so you can park the scooter up if needs be.
I have to be honest and say I did struggle a little with folding it down and hubby had to help me. I think it just takes a bit of practice but the strap made it very easy to carry, which would be perfect for a commute, if you had to use the train.
I found it was a really good workout too. I scooted to do an errand and with some inclines I was very hot and puffed when I returned home. It’s quite exhilarating and an alternative to cycling. I’m hoping it encourages me daughter to use her scooter a little more too.
I was very impressed with this scooter and would thoroughly recommend if you are after an adult scooter. It is a really fun way to exercise and perfect for commuting.
