Last Christmas the gremlin completed fell in love with this dancing duck we saw we shopping in town. We are talking a full 20 minutes hanging around it and lots of laughing and jumping around in complete glee. Lovely to watch and Santa got the memo; she got one for Christmas.
She just adores musical toys that move or dance (I may not but that is another story!)
When we were asked to review a Cycling Paddington by Rainbow Designs, I knew it would be a winner with my gremlin. I used to watch Paddington Bear with my Dad when I was younger so I had some real nostalgia and I think I will try and dig out some old episodes for her.

The Product
This lovely toy is a cuddly, cute Paddington Bear, approximately 35cm tall, dressed in his traditional blue coat and red hat. He sits on a red bike and pedals in random directions to a catchy tune. It does require 2 AA batteries which I am pleased to say are included. He is suitable for children 3 years and older.
It comes in a lovely display box and is pretty easy to snip Paddington out and start him cycling.
It is as simple as that. As he comes with batteries (which I always love), all you need to do is switch him on!
The Verdict
The girls loved him! Although he is for children aged 3 and over, my baby girl who is 10 months was squealing in delight watching Paddington.
His tune really is catchy and reminded me of an old silent movie. He cycles forwards and backwards, in random directions and if he crashes, he will reverse backwards. It lasts for a little while and then he stops, starting up again when you move him.
You can see from the picture below he is in full go mode! It is quite a sturdy toy as well. He fell over a couple of times when the girls were a bit heavy handed and this was no issue.
Overall
This toy really is completely delightful. If you have a little one who has watched and loved the film this toy will really bring Paddington Bear to life. My girls really loved him and he made all the adult smile as he cycled about.
It would make a lovely Christmas or birthday gift.
