Christmas Gift Guide – For The Woman in Your Life

It’s now time for the men to move aside and for me to showcase my Christmas Gift Guide for the ladies. I always love doing this one, as it’s nice for me to pick a few things I that would quite like as a gift. Most years I do have lots of ideas but sometimes I definitely draw a blank.

So here are my top picks this year:

1 – A Piece of Jewellery from Jewellery Box

I have had items from this lovely company before and I have to say I genuinely wear them daily. Jewellery Box provide a variety of jewellery, including rings, bracelets and necklaces, earrings and even nose ring and there is the option to personalise. There is just so much choice and you do fall down a black hole when having a browse. Jewellery Box showcase over 10,000 pieces of jewellery in 9ct gold and sterling silver and ships to 100 countries worldwide.

The item I have to showcase is a beautiful necklace: a gold dipped sterling silver karma moments daisy & initial letter pendant on bead chain necklace. It retails at £28 and the chain length can be 16 to 22 inches. It is absolutely beautiful and I was thrilled with it. Jewellery Box are definitely worth looking at this festive season.

2 – A Box of Favours

Not the kind of favours you may be thinking! Available exclusively on Amazon, this really thoughtful gift retails at £9.99 and allows you to gift someone some favours. It maybe to make a cup of tea for them or to sort breakfast in bed. You can also fill in some blank cards and make up your own! I think this is such an original gift, isn’t expensive and would make someone very happy. I’d certainly love my breakfast in bed a few times.

3 – Stationary from Pen Heaven

I know so many stationary addicts and I have to admit I love a bit of stationary as a gift. When Pen Heaven offered a couple of items, I was very keen. Pen Heaven offer a large range of pens and journals and really focus on choice, quality and value. They also offer a good range of refills and offer fast delivery. I chose this beautiful Palmi Large Leather Journal, which retails at £19.50. As my blog is very colourful, I chose turquoise and had my logo embossed on the bottom, which added a further £7.50 to the price. It is stunning and I can’t wait to start using it.

Every journal needs a pen and I chose this lovely Caran D’Ache 849 Brut Rose Ballpoint Pen. Even better it is in Rose Gold with a hexagonal body (love this colour!!). It retails at £35 and you can add optional engraving for an extra £7. It has a push button mechanism, writes in blue ink and has a 2 year international manufacturer warranty.

If you have a stationary lover in the mix, check Pen Heaven out!

4 – Christmas Sound Cards by Really Wild Cards

I’m not someone who goes to church regularly but I do love the Christmas story and carols. I used to go as a child with school and think the memories are there. After all, it is the true meaning of Christmas? I was offered some a selection of cards from Really Wild Cards and they are great! Really traditional designs and carols and hymns play as you open. These retail at £6.99, which I think is reasonable and are just really different. I know the older generations in my family will appreciate too, so will be a perfect card this year.

5 – Malki Dead Sea aromatherapy Bath Salts with Frankincense Oil & Rose Petals

When I get to have a bath alone, I am always thrilled, so it is nice to have a lovely product to use in the bath. Currently retailing at £6.85 from Boots, the product has therapeutic minerals along with aromatherapy oils and rose petals help you to feel your stress just float away. It is thought to calm your mind and soothe tense muscles. I’m looking forward to trying this out, without my girls!!

6 – Disney Britto Figure from Gift Giving All Wrapped Up

I had never heard of Disney Britto before until I was browsing on Gift Giving All Wrapped Up. They have such a selection of these bright, beautiful Disney figures and mugs. I was blown away and knew I would love one as a gift.

I chose this glittery figure of Dumbo which currently is out of stock but if you browse on the link above there are other characters such as Winnie the Pooh, Alice and the Cheshire Cat.

A little information about the creator: “International pop artist phenomenon Romero Britto interprets Disney’s most beloved characters in pint-sized works of art popping with bursts of colour and exquisite detail. Romero Britto is an artist whose paintings and sculptures are currently exhibited in more than 100 galleries worldwide.”

Prices start at £13 for the mugs. If you know a Disney fan, these will be such a good gift!

7 – A Bola Pregnancy Necklace from Nibbling

Of course I’m a pregnant Mama this year and as this guide has to meet my approval, I had to accept one of these beautiful Bola pregnancy necklaces from Nibbling. The prices starts at £24 and go up to £34.

These necklaces have a story of origin. The tradition of wearing an “Angel Caller” chime necklace over the womb comes from Mexico. If you shake the pendant it releases a soft chime sound that is thought to bring inner calm and harmony to mother and baby. Each of the necklaces has hand selected tassels and semi precious stones to give each mother a unique design.  The chain length of these necklaces varies. They really are a stunning gift for a newly expecting mum that she can later pass down to her child.

Such an original Christmas gift too!

8 – Wall Mount from Go-Giftie Gifts

I love anything personalised. I think it makes such a nice touch and is just so thoughtful. When I was contacted by Go-Giftie I was spoilt for choice with all their lovely collection of posters.

They have a range of posters including word clouds, house rules, new baby, future dreams and ones to celebrate love and marriage. Definitely worth a browse. These can also be in hard copy or a digital print.

I decided to go with a house rules poster as you can see from the pictures!! It’s so cool. Prices start at £13.99 with a digital print but you can have your posted mounted or framed, where prices go up to around £40. There are lots of options to personalise with colour and icons too.
