AD – I love a good pair of leggings. They were a lifesaver when I was pregnant all three times, especially towards the end when nothing else fit. Now I tend to wear them under dresses or pinafores and they can look great on their own, as long as they are not see through. With autumn style in full swing now, I know I will be getting mine out more and more. I was recently sent some goodies from UK Tights and I was ready to get my Legging Style on!
Legging Style – UK Tights
UK Tights are a huge website, in fact the Earth’s biggest hosiery site. You can get pretty much any style of tights, leggings and socks, as well as hold ups and stockings. There is so much choice! There is a vast array of brands as well.
I was spoilt for choice.
What Did I Choose?
I decided to go with 2 pairs of leggings and a pair of socks.
The first pair of leggings were a fashion pair and one I knew would be perfect for a night out or with boots and knits.
These Jonathan Aston Perforated Leggings looked fab and retailed in the sale currently at £18.99. They have high shine and perforated panels and do look glam. They are quite tight and I did have to breathe in slightly when I put them on but overall they fit really well.
My second choice was another pair of leggings but this time more fitted. These Ambra Killer Figure Waist Killer Leggings which retail at £17.99. They are designed to flatten the tummy, with light compression to smooth and tone. The notes also say ideal gym wear but this was not the case, as my husband told me they were see through!!
When I got them, they looked really small and I thought they would fit my eldest daughter but wow, do they stretch!! They go on very easily.
I’m aware these leggings are more for shape, possibly under a tunic or dress but I wore them under my pinafore. Despite the fact they are so tight, they were actually so comfortable and I could wear them easily all day. They felt and looked great too!!
I hope I can wear them under some Christmas party dresses at some point too!
I also chose a really cute pair of socks with bows for my third item. These Oroblu Abstract Bow Socks are so adorable and retail at £13.99.
They are ankle height with a satin bow and a smooth knit.
I thought they looked really cute with my shorter jeans. Sometimes its nice to wear a pair of socks that look a bit nicer than my cartoon varieties!
I loved the choice on UK Tights and think I will definitely be back. The products I have chosen are of such good quality and items I would not usually pick, which I like. Delivery was speedy too.
