My eldest is definitely getting to the point where she likes making things, drawing, crafting. She loves being creative and having something to show for what she has done. I remember being just like that and still am! With my scrapbooking and bullet journalling, it’s nice to have a creation; something you can look at again and again or use or wear! So when we were offered the chance to review some new Jelli-Rez Style-Me Packs, so my eldest could make some of her own jewellery, I knew she would be up for it! Hopefully this Jelli-Rez review will help you decide whether your little one will fancy this creative product.

Jelli-Rez Instructions – Getting Started
It was absolutely pouring with rain and I was starting to go a tad start crazy with my brood. I decided to let my younger two sit in front of screens for a little while and my eldest and I sat down for some jewellery making.
It was really straight forward. The Jelli-Rez instructions are really clear to follow. There are lots of bits and pieces in the pack but I could identify everything and help my eldest.
The first thing you do is decide is making a smaller or larger piece of jewellery as there are mixing bowls for each.
You firstly pour some of the Jelli-Rez pink mixture into one half of the bowl, as there is a divider. You fill to the line, which is easy so see on the instructions.
You then add a quarter of a pack of the glitter and then add to other half of the bowl, some Yellow Jelli-Rez mixture. You then stir the mixture 10 times clockwise and 10 times anti-clockwise! At least.
You then pour in the mould of choice.
Then time to add some stickers which you do upside-down and with the tweezers provided.
Finally you add the fashion accessory of choice, ring, necklace, hair clip!
That’s it. We left for a further 15 minutes but it is likely, it would have been less time, as the Jelli-Rez starts to set quickly.
For the necklace above we did have string to loop through the hole!
Our Thoughts on the Product
My eldest made a ring and a bracelet and it was so fun and easy. I’m always a bit iffy about starting something where I have to read instructions; probably as I’m just as impatient as a child sometimes!
Jelli-Rez was really simple and the instructions were easy to follow too. And best of all the Jelli-Rez sets and is ready in 15 minutes! I’m always a bit skeptical but it worked and we had two pieces of jewellery made within half an hour.
It was a lovely activity and always great to get kids away from screens. My eldest is hoping to make some more with her friend when she comes over next week.
The only issue we had was the ring we made, I don’t think we pushed the ring accessory hard enough into the mould and it did fall out. Do bear this in mind. We had no issues with the necklace however.
Price-wise I think the packs we were sent were really reasonable for £9.99 and you can make up to 8 pieces of jewellery or accessories from each. It would make a good gift for a birthday or upcoming Christmas!
Jewellery making is really good for kids and also a good opportunity to make gifts for others.
Overall we had fun and I would recommend Jelli-Rez for your little ones! It worked well and lovely to have something to show for your time.
