Playmobil EverDreamerz Series 2 – Cosmic World – REVIEW and GIVEAWAY | AD

Playmobil Ever Dreamerz characters

Surprise toys, cool characters and Playmobil? Sounds like a winning combination doesn’t it? When we were asked to review the new series in the Playmobil EverDreamerz collection; Playmobil Everdreamerz Series 2, Cosmic World.  I knew the girls would be sold. I remember buying my eldest some Playmobil when she was younger; a house and she loved it. It is still played with regularly now and her sister loves to sit and play with her too.

We have one of the houses and I just remember thinking it came with some many piece of furniture and accessories! I think that is one of the unique things about Playmobil; the detail! Playmobil wasn’t something I had when I was a child, so it’s all new to me too.

I was keen to see what the new Playmobil EverDreamerz Series 2 would have to offer.

More About the Playmobil EverDreamerz Series 2

The EverDreamerz range, which is suitable for ages 7+ is available now. I know my middley is almost 4 and a little young but she wanted to see what all the rage was, so of course we let her join in, fully supervised.

The Collectables are priced from £5.99 through to £14.99.

Series two sees the five best friends travel to the colourful dream world of Edwina. Each character box is packed with collectable cards, bracelet, beads, charms and accessories, as well as stickers to complete a free sticker booklet. It is great for kids who love unboxing and I don’t know many kids who don’t. Well I quite like it as well.

The series has new characters called Viola, Rosalee, Clare, Starleen and Edwina. They are 5 best friends and I have to say they are so cool! Quirky, colourful and just inspiring for young kids. The five teenage girls discover a magical amulet which allows them to enter their dream worlds and meet new friends along the way. Plus, fans of the EverDreamerz can enjoy collecting the accessories included in the box, as well as topping up their charm bracelets with new beads.

Plus, there’s twelve additional characters to collect in surprise boxes, from Colorista, Erazorman, Kimby to Karmela. I promise my middley was a little more excited than she looks here!

Opening the Playmobil EverDreamerz

What I liked about the Playmobil EverDreamerz immediately was there was barely any plastic. It was a cardboard box and although there were a couple of plastic bags to open, it was mainly cardboard. Therefore, very easy to recycle. Some of the toys the girls have reviewed have been brilliant but there can be so much plastic waste and this bothers me.

The cardboard boxes were easy to open with an easy “puller” that rips open the box all around.

The box opens in half to reveal little surprise boxes to open and find more surprises inside! As you can see, there are some plastic bags to open too but not many. There are boxes and almost a little drawer at the bottom.

When you open the boxes you can find the accessories for your character. This also made me realise why the Playmobil EverDreamerz are aimed at children aged 7 years and over. I didn’t think my almost 4 year old would eat the small pieces (!) but she may lose them and not think to take care of them as well as an older child. Definitely supervise a younger child.

As you can see below, included is a surprise pet and a bracelet and beads. This is what you can add the charms on to make a bracelet. My eldest liked this but my middley wasn’t as bothered.

You then reveal your character (Clare is below) and she comes with a collectors card, sign and stickers. There are also more stickers you stick onto your accessories, the sign below for example.

You also add stickers to your book and there is another surprise with this. They are numbered so you know where to stick them too, so easy.

As you can see below one of the accessories included is a water pen and some of the stickers can be coloured in! A little like an Aquadoodle and accessories. I love a bit of mess-free painting! I also thought this was a pretty unique idea.

Some of the character’s accessories are really cute!

You can see the Playmobil EverDreamerz character Starleen below with her sign.

Our Thoughts

The Playmobil Everdreamerz Series 2 collection is pretty cool. So many hidden surprises, so my blind bag obsessed brood were in their element as usual. I liked the stickers included and the water pen. Something different and fun to use. They also come with a stand, as you can see in the picture above, so great if kids want to display their collection.

The story behind the girls is great too and kids may want to watch on YouTube to see what their characters get up to. It sounds like they get up to lot of fun adventures and this may give them some ideas for their games. The characters seemed so inspiring. Plenty of colour and different.

I was amazed as how many accessories were included! So many. As I said, I can see why these products are aimed at the older child, as very easy to lose them but older kids will be fine. It may be worth investing in a little tub to keep all the bits and pieces and some are very small.

The bracelet is pretty cute too!

There is lots to throw away! The is a lot of packaging to throw away and it did drive me a little crazy clearing it up but as I mentioned it is mainly cardboard so can be recycled.

However, overall were all taken with the Playmobil Everdreamerz Series 2. There was just something different about them, compared to your usual surprise toys. They are good to use with other Playmobil toys you may have, as I mentioned we have a house.

Price-wise they are a little more than some of the other blind-bag toys on the market at almost £15 but you do get more included in the boxes. So much for your little ones to play with and collect.

I think these would make great gifts.
