I can still remember Mother’s Day from last year. We were at the start of the lockdown and I felt a little better knowing what was going to happen, after a week of uncertainty and loss of control. My hubby bought me a hoody and I had breakfast in bed. That hoody became my safety blanket for the whole lockdown; I lived in it and even now when I wear it, I think back to those days last year.We may still be in lockdown for Mother’s Day 2021 too but I think with a little light at the end of the tunnel, things do feel a little easier I love putting together my Mother’s Day gift ideas, as have received some lovely things.

I love tracking my steps and health. Mainly so I can compete with my husband but also for my own peace of mind.

I love Willow Tree figurines from Willow Tree Gift and have a couple already. I remember we received one when we got married and I kindly was gifted another for a previous gift guide. This Mother’s Day I was thrilled to be sent this Surprise Figurine.

It retails at £22 and is really beautiful and has a height of 14cm. Perfect as a surprise gift for someone. The figure includes a gift tag with sentiment ‘A bouquet of wonderful wishes’.

I’m hoping we are going to start travelling a bit soon! Even if it is just down the motorway to see a friend! A travel mug is always a useful, eco-friendly thing to have. I love this Peter Rabbit design on this bamboo travel mug from Enesco.

It retails at £16.99 and is made from mixed materials: The inside of the mug is made from stainless steel, with an outer Bamboo wrap and a plastic lid. The lid of the mug has a movable section suitable for drinking. It is 17.5cm tall.  It does need to be upright at all times.

OGGS® Zesty Lemon Cake

I love cake. My whole family loves cakes and I know a lot of Mums would love some on Mother’s Day this year! I was very happy to feature an OGGS® Zesty Lemon Cake.

Gym Leggings from MFB Activewear 

I love leggings and especially funky designs, that I can wear in the gym. I was really excited to be sent a pair of gym leggings from MFB Activewear.

I chose these Luscious Leopard leggings in a size 10. They retail at £37 and made from super soft recycled material; 75% Recycled Polyester, 25% Elastane. The leggings range in sizes from 6 to 22 and a 3 inch waist band which stays up well.  There is a zip pocket, suitable for most phones and for every pair sold, a tree is planted.

I was so impressed. I usually have issues pulling leggings on, as they can feel tight but these fit perfectly. I can’t wait to get back to the gym!

Dight Women’s Waterproof Parka from TOG 24

I’ll be honest, I’m not the most practical person at all and I often don’t think about a good waterproof or wellies. This is actually ridiculous too, as I have been spending quite a lot of this winter outdoors.

When I was offered an item from TOG 24 to include in my guide, I really loved this Dight Women’s Waterproof Parka. It currently retails at £100, as reduced. The colour is rose pink and beautiful. Lounge Leggings from Love Leggings

I actually wonder when I will ever stop wearing leggings to chill in, as well as the gym after this lockdown. I am a huge fan of Love Leggings, as have featured their products before. They have a great range including leggings for fitness, everyday wear, leggings and maternity. They are soft, comfortable and completely non-see-through.

This time I was after a pair of black lounge leggings for everyday wear. These retail at £30 and come in sizes 6-38. They are ribbed with a high waistband and they have 4-way stretch fabric which moves with you for the ultimate in comfort and coverage. They are designed to fit and flatter.

I love them! They are soft and comfortable. I could easily run after the kids in them too.

Twine can be brilliant for crafting and for the Mum who loves to craft, would make a lovely gift. I’ve used twine for scrapbooking and card making in the past.
