Angry Birds Space Hopper – **REVIEW and GIVEAWAY** | AD

girl bouncing on the angry birds hopper

The weather has been amazing during lockdown so far. Well I say this and it has been raining for the last couple of days! Getting outside however, has been a godsend. We have spent so much time in the garden; on the trampoline or just chilling and playing. The girls have been out on the front riding their bikes and playing on their scooters and we have made sure we get a daily walk in to our local woods, during the weekdays. Exercise is so important for little ones and there is always that risk, when stuck at home, that they may not do enough. When we were asked to review The Angry Birds Space Hopper, I knew it would be fabulous exercise and an awful lot of fun.

More About The Angry Birds Space Hopper

Produced by Tobar Toys, the Angry Birds Space Hopper is aimed at children aged 5 years and over. My eldest was pretty happy, as this meant it was going to be for her only! My 3 year old was definitely too small for it! It RRPs at around £14.99.

Officially Angry Birds, the bright red space hopper, includes a foot pump. It inflates to 60cm. It has Red’s face on the front.

Setting it Up

I quite often get my hubby to set up new toys which is a bit daft really, as I can usually get on with it! On this occasion though, he was working, so my eldest and I unboxed The Angry Birds Space Hopper.

It was really simple.

We wrapped both the hopper and foot pump. You simply take out the bung and replace with the end of the foot pump. In fact, I got my eldest to inflate it!

When you are happy with how much it has inflated to, you just stick the bung in and away you go.

Testing Out The Angry Birds Space Hopper

My eldest was desperate to get on it and I had to succumb and let her bounce in the house a little, as the weather had well and truly turned. I wouldn’t massively advise this though, as you really can bounce high and roll all over if you crash!!

We did manage to get outside a few days later.

It really is good fun! I was amazed how high my eldest could jump on it and it was actually a really good workout. She was pretty tired. The hopper is pretty robust and you can pump it up as firm as you like. I do think it goes down a little over time, as occasionally it looks a little flatter! You can easily just pump it up a little more each time.

My eldest loves it. She generally just likes to roll all over it too! It reminds me a little of my birth ball when I was pregnant and my eldest does just like to sit and bounce without jumping!

It is definitely set for the right age, as my younger children are definitely too small to bounce but I’m sure they will in the years to come.

I think the Angry Birds Space Hopper is a good laugh, bright and vibrant and really good for keeping your kids fit and active. It’s a great addition to the garden toys!
