It’s been a while since we had any L.O.L. Surprise! toys in the house to review. I’ve always said my eldest has been a huge fan and me too! I love their styles, their vibrant colours and their glittery hair. My middle child has turned three and she is starting to enjoy them too; also anything her older sister likes! We have reviewed a variety of L.O.L. Surprise! toys in the past (see end of post for more details),so of course we were very keen to test out the new L.O.L. Surprise! Furniture Series 2 toys.
I’d actually not heard about this range of L.O.L. Surprise! so when they arrived in shimmery boxes, I was keen to see what they would be like. I made my girls wait until the weekend to open and get some pictures!
More About L.O.L. Surprise! Furniture Series 2
We were sent two of the new L.O.L. Surprise! Furniture Series 2 -Backstage with Independent Queen and Road Trip with Can Do Baby. The former of these comes with a vanity mirror, chair and accessories, where the latter comes with a really cool Cozy Coupe (a little like one my middle child has herself!!), plus accessories.
This new range in the L.O.L. Surprise! combines your L.O.L. Surprise dolls with furniture, as the name suggests. Each pack has 10+ surprises to unbox and each comes with a unique doll and accessories.
You can collect all four dolls in the L.O.L. Surprise! Furniture Series 2 range for some real fun playtime!
Each pack retails at £17.00 and is aimed at children 3 years and over. Your can find them in Amazon, The Entertainer and Smyths Toys.
Unboxing The Product
So one Saturday afternoon we sat to unbox the L.O.L. Surprise! Furniture Series 2! Once you get the cellophane off you take box lid off and already and see all the blind bags ready to open!
The box almost opens like a fan to reveal the scene for your L.O.L. Surprise! Furniture pack! The one below came with the Road Trip with Can Do Baby.
This one with Backstage with Independent Queen.
The girls then pulled out their blind bags and started revealing what they had!
I was so impressed! You can see what came with Backstage with Independent Queen. She had a lovely vanity mirror and chair, make up accessories and a drink for the L.O.L. Surprise! doll.
The doll has brilliant blue glitter hair and a fantastic outfit.
Despite this, I think my eldest was a little jealous of her younger sister, as the Road Trip with Can Do Baby pack was brilliant, mainly due to the Cosy Coupe car. I love anything miniature, so this was so cool and of course the girls both thought so too.
Our Thoughts on L.O.L. Surprise! Furniture Series 2
Both the girls were enraptured with the L.O.L. Surprise! Furniture Series 2 range. It was fun to get some real accessories with the L.O.L. Surprise Dolls, perfect for imaginary games.
I think the overall favourite was the Cosy Coupe car, as my eldest was desperate to get her hands on this and play. It really is a brilliant little miniature. There was loads to unbox and I liked the way the boxes became the scene for the set.
Price-wise these L.O.L. Surprise! are more expensive at £17 but there is less to collect and you are getting more, so worth it. I always think L.O.L. Surprise! is just one of those things people will pay for though, as they are so popular and cool!
Another issue is the amount of plastic waste with these dolls. I have to mention this, as for some people plastic toys are not for them anymore. There is less plastic around the toys, compared to previous L.O.L. Surprise! which is better but still a lot of bags to open. Bear this in mind.
Overall I was impressed and so were the girls. L.O.L. Surprise! have come up with another imaginative collectable and these are fab for role-play and collecting all, to play together.
