Stampin’ Up! Card Kit REVIEW | AD

I’m a scrapbooker usually but love a bit of stationary. Who doesn’t really? Crafting can be really therapeutic and making a card is different, cheaper in the long run and just more fun.

My Mother-in-law tends to make cards more, so when I was offered a fabulous “Oh Happy Day” card kit to review by Stampin’ Up! I thought this would be right up her street.

This kit retails at £31.50 and is so bright and eye-catching. I’m a bit of a magpie and love all the colours and designs.

You can see on the picture above what is included but for ease of reading, here is it below:

* Set of 13 photopolymer stamps
* 20 card bases and coordinating envelopes
* Giftable kraft box
* Die-cut glittered chipboard shapes
* Embossed sheets
* Printed die-cut images
* Die-cut gold foil sheet
* Die-cut white sheets
* Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Spot
* Printed color doilies
* Baker’s Twine
* Glittered dots
* Stampin’ Dimensionals
* Acrylic stamp block

What I really like about this kit is you are given instructions on how to put the cards together. If you are a complete novice you can purchase this with full instructions to make 20 different cards. You can make them all at once of when you need them. Perhaps, as you gain experience you can design your own, using the kit.

Each bit of kit is numbered, as you can see below:

You then use the below guide to piece together the parts to make some stunning, original cards!

I gave the kit to my Mother-in-law and here are a couple of designs she whipped up. She used the kit but as quite an experienced card maker, added a couple of her own tweaks.

The layered effects looks great and you can see the writing has been created using the ink and stamp set provided.

They really look fab! I’m sure my Mother-in-law will use the rest of the kit as and when she needs the cards which is really convenient.

If you are new to card making or are after a bright, vibrant and fun card kit, look not further!

Disclosure – were we provided with the kit free of charge in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
