Truprint In The Night Garden Personalised Blanket **REVIEW**

I love that there are so many options to personalise gifts and products nowadays, especially with photographs. I was contacted by the online photo printing service, Truprint to review an item from their new In The Night Garden Range and I of course accepted.

The gremlin used to love In The Night Garden when she was younger and we went to see it live. I’m hoping my little Piglet follows suit as it is a really lovely show.

Truprint are offered personalised In The Night Garden products, including a canvas, pillow and blanket.

What Did We Choose?

We decided to go with the blanket which currently retails at £69.99. This does seem quite pricey but read on and I will tell you what I think. Also Truprint are donating 25% of sales to the NSPCC.

The blanket is 57 by 43 inches and below are the product details:

  • Traditional soft fleece blanket, dozens of designs
  • Blanket is edge stitched in white cotton thread
  • The front area is completely customisable and the back is white to suit any interior
  • Blanket is 100% Polyester Fleece
  • Washed at 30 Degrees, can be tumble dried and not ironed

The Ordering Process

You can add 8 photos of your choice to the blanket to make it truly unique. There are options to upload pictures directly from your PC or social media. However, to ensure the pictures are of the correct resolution, I would advice them to come from your PC and previously from your camera.

As the blanket is large, each picture will be blown up and any poor quality photos will not look impressive. The Truprint site will tell you if your pictures are at a too low resolution and what is expected.

Once you have uploaded your photos of choice you can simple drop and drag to each square that will be on the blanket.

There is the option to add text and embellishments but I opted not to do this due to the lovely In The Night Garden theme.

Once you are happy with your photo arrangement you can order!

Our Verdict?

I was truly amazed when I pulled out the blanket. The first thing that struck me was the size of it. It is quite big so would be a perfect throw for the lounge and lovely to snuggle under in the cooler months. Definitely bigger than expected.

The pictures came out really well, a little darker than on the PC screen when designing, so make sure your images are nice and bright. It was quite surreal seeing our faces on the blanket but my eldest loved it!

I was also really impressed with the quality of the blanket. It is really thick and soft and I like how it can be washed easily, as these girls are messy!

Overall

I have to say, this item is quite expensive BUT with the NSPCC donation, the quality of the blanket, the personalisation and printing and the general “wow factor”, it does seem more worth it.

I showed my Mum who was amazed and said how lovely it was.

It would make a beautiful present or treat for yourself and is such a lovely keepsake and memory. I feel ours will get a lot of use; snuggling, den making and rolling all over!

Disclosure – we were provided with this blanket in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
