I was really struggling to decide what to buy for my step-dad this year for this birthday but knowing he does love his watches the chance to review a men’s Globenfeld Antique blue watch came at the most perfect time.

This watch is really impressive when you first unbox it. The blue features are really striking and eye catching. I loved the thick leather strap and the chunk look of the watch.
Bear in mind the watch needs to be “wound up” initially by turning the crown 30 times. My step-dad did not read the instructions (!) and the watch wasn’t working over night when not being worn. Oops.
As the watch was given to my step-Dad for his birthday, I asked him to give me his honest feedback and he actually wrote something that gives a great overview.
“The beautifully impressive presentation box sets the scene for what is within, a classical watch but with a yet unique design that looks much aligned to a professional environment as it does in a social occasion. The watch can sit alongside designer watches with a much more affluent price tag and not seem out of place. The brown leather strap is a key feature and gives a luxurious feel, matching perfectly with the gold within the wonderfully designed textured face, itself. A great gift for the discerning man!”
Overall this is a beautiful, stylish. I personally loved the brown strap and the kinetic element. It would make a great gift with Christmas on the way, as is good value and looks impressive.
