Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for The Man In Your Life

Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for The Man In Your Life

Valentine’s Day is around the corner again. Love it or hate it there are red hearts everywhere! We quite like Valentine’s Day and always try to have a special meal, even if at home. We don’t always get a gift for each other but sometimes we do bend that rule and treat each other.

I think hubby is mainly in it for the treats though; sweet treats!

I thought I would put together some different ideas for for the chaps this Valentine’s Day and without further ado:

1) Luxury Caramels from the Fudge Kitchen

What was I saying about sweet treats? My hubby adores anything chocolate, caramel and fudge, so I knew I couldn’t go wrong with the Fudge Kitchen. There is an amazing Valentine’s Day selection available from the 1st February which are all hand made. they have some amazing flavours such as Belgian Chocolate Swirl and Lemon Meringue. They also offer fudge making sessions for Valentine’s Day. A lovely treat and something delicious to go home with.

We were sent some Luxury Caramels which retail at £15.99. This delicious gift comes with a luxury, keepsake box stacked with twelve creamy, hand worked caramel favourites in six flavours: Sea Salted Caramel, Cherry Bakewell Caramel, Chocolate Caramel, Mocha Caramel, Raspberry Caramel, Chilli Chocolate Caramel. All are coated in thick milk chocolate and hand decorated.

I was hoping to get my hands on these!

2) T Shirt and Boxers from Mainline Menswear

I love this online store and hubby has had some great stuff in the past from them. This time my lucky other half chose a T shirt and Boxer set from Levi’s retailing at £30. As specified online the product details are –

“A cotton jersey t shirt with a ribbed crew neck, short sleeves and a signature woven Levis logo pinch tag in the left side seam in red and white. One pair of boxer briefs in black with an elasticated waistband featuring the signature Levis logo woven in white.”

Mainline Menswear have so much choice for the men, so many brands and so many ideas for Valentine’s Day. Definitely worth checking out if your other half loves fashion and accessories.

4) Hand Cream from SEAMS Beauty

Hubby can get quite dry hands, especially if he is outside on his allotment when the weather is cold. I knew some hand cream from SEAMS Beauty would help with this. It is perfect for hands that work hard. It contains a Biomimetic Lipid Complex so SEAMS penetrates the epidermal layer, to help lock in moisture and leave skin feeling exceptionally soft, supple and smooth from the first use. I think another one for me to steal too!

It is also non-greasy.

The product retails at £14 and has some great testimonials online.

5) Miss Mindy Jack Vinyl Figurine from Gift Giving All Wrapped Up

I have more of a feeling that this will get stolen from my gremlin but we loved watching the Nightmare Before Christmas this year and this Miss Mindy Jack Vinyl Figurine from Gift Giving All Wrapped Up. This figure retails at £25 and is 18cm in height.

I absolutely love this website, as there are so many amazing, unique gifts for Disney lovers, as well as for babies, for the home and for her. There are so many different brands including Willow Tree, Beatrix Potter and Disney Britto. I never know what to choose! Definitely worth checking out for Valentine’s Day gifts this year, as so different. Just be careful though, you will get hooked on all the amazing products!

6) The Book of Everyone

This gift really wowed me, as is really different and personal. The Book of Everyone is a celebration of your special person. It contains really interesting facts about your special one like knowing that they share 50% of their DNA with a banana or a billion atoms with Shakespeare!

You can personalise the book and add some little details that mean a lot to you and the person you are giving it to. These may be little memories or little private jokes. It’s really cool.

The books retail at £23.99 as a starting point for a paperback and increase in price depending on if you want hardback or the more luxurious styles. 500,000 books have been sold with 96% customer satisfaction.

Definitely check out!

7) Coffee from Extract Coffee Roasters

My hubby is a massive coffee drinker and has to have one every morning at the same time. He does like grinding his own coffee beans and starting from scratch so I knew some whole flavoured beans from Extract Coffee Roasters would suit him down to the ground. He chose a really tasty sounding flavour; baked apple, toasted hazelnut and brown sugar. This sounds amazing, even for someone like me who doesn’t really drink coffee. Extract Coffee Roasters offer a variety of coffee flavours in whole bean or ground varieties. You can even get a monthly subscription.

8) Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur

My hubby loves cocktails. When I’m not pregnant and enjoying a glass of wine, he will be concocting himself a different drink. I know he would love some of this Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur which retails at £8 from most supermarkets.

It will go nicely with bubbles like Prosecco but would also work with gin! Delicious. Chambord’s limited edition 20cl bottle comes packaged in a purple and raspberry box. Lovely for those Valentine’s Day drinks together too.

Here is a recipe!

Ingredients

  • 15ml Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur
  • 125ml champagne, prosecco or cava
  • A raspberry (to garnish)

Method

Pour your favourite fizz into a flute glass and top with Chambord. Garnish with a raspberry.

Enjoy!
