I know like many parents all over England, Monday the 8th March will have felt like a huge milestone! After almost another 3 months with Christmas, children are back at school! My eldest needed it! I needed it. I’m not a teacher and she does not thrive learning at home. Too many distractions. I have no patience and we simply did not work too well together. It wasn’t just that for me. I was losing precious time with her younger siblings, as home-schooling took over. Luckily I don’t work from home, like so many parents do but I was having to let my younger two play or hang around, as I helped their older sister with work.
So Monday coming was great I have to say.
Going back to school always mean new equipment, new stationary and something to be a bit excited about. This is where Smiggle can really help. When we were offered some items from their new ranges, I knew my girls would be keen to choose some bits.
Now I am aware schools do have different rules about what kids are allowed to take in and not take in due to Covid. I chose items, that my children were allowed to have in school. They are not allowed bags or stationary at present but lunch bags and drinks bottles are fine. Check with your school first but of course some of the products are fabulous for at home and doing homework too!
Back to School with Smiggle
There are so many current discounts on the Smiggle website right now, so worth checking out if you are getting your little ones kitted out.
There are so amazing new collections available now including Sky, Kick, Galaxy, Socks and Smiggler.
We choose some items from some of Smiggle’s new cool collections, and you can see what my girls picked!
Smiggle Sky Collection
My eldest is now is a year at school where she is finally allowed a packed lunch. This is great as she can have both hot and cold meals and mix it up a bit. Currently she is stealing my bigger lunch bag when she has too much for her bento box.
She picked this lovely Sky Double Decker Lunchbox which retails at £20. It has two tiers of great storage so you can separate all your snacks! Lining is BPA free and food grade safe. It has a name label and carry handle. She is so excited to take to school for her lunches.
She also picked a Shimmy Unicorn Scented Alphabet Keyring with a letter “A”. She is really excited to clip it onto her lunch bag. These currently retail at £6. It’s a glitter filled-unicorn that smells amazing. She picked one for her friend too.
She also picked a Sky Drink Bottle to match her collection. These retail at £9 and it has a flip top spout bottle. It hold 650mls and is BPA-free.
Smiggle Kick Collection
My middley is already pretty kitted out with her bento box for school but she did need a new drinks bottle. As she and my eldest are like chalk and cheese, I knew unicorns and pink were not going to be for her. She saw the Kick Drink Bottle and was sold.
It’s a bottle that looks like a football! It retails at £9 and has the same properties as the Sky Drinks Bottle.
Both my girls were pretty happy with their choices and it always helps having some new bits with a new start or transition.
If your kids are needing some new back to school bits, check out Smiggle. Going back to school with Smiggle is always a lot more fun!
