My #GeorgeMiniMe with Asda

The gremlin is getting to be quite a fashionista with all her beautiful dresses and I quite like the fact that she loves clothes. I have bought clothes as a present for other kids who have promptly looked inside the wrapped gift like it is the most boring thing they have ever seen!!

The gremlin on the other hand gets pretty excited.

I was recently contacted by George at Asda to be involved in their #GeorgeMiniMe project. The task was simple: choose a matching outfit for me and my gremlin and get some good pictures! I had £75 to spend which was more than adequate. I almost bit the hand off the PR; we love George. A lot of the gremlin’s clothes have come from there as they have brilliant choice and the price is really reasonable. It also lasts. I remember a coat we bought her; she wore it ages!

I was a bit worried iniitally about my side of the challenge, as I am very pregnant but George have a great maternity range and this was what we picked:

I picked a denim dress from the maternity range and some gladiator sandals for myself. The gremlin got the rest. She loved a navy dress with cats all over the bottom. I figured it was quite a dark colour and would go with my dress. She also liked a lighter denim dress with stars all over, which we would use for the pictures. I chose her some white sandals too. With the remaining funds, I got her a white cardy and a Frozen T-Shirt.

She was almost wetting herself with excitement and immediately put on the cat dress and sandals when we unwrapped the parcel. Here is one of my candid phone shots I got of her.

We decided to go out matching to a gorgeous National Trust gardens called Hidcote Manor Gardens and the weather was pretty good!

Here are some of the shots from the day:

It just so happened the next day we were going out to review a restaurant. I wanted to wear my denim dress again and the gremlin chose her cat dress, so we go another shot of us almost matching by chance!

You can see her finally modelling her remaining clothes the weekend after to go and stay with Nanny!

As with anything clothes related, the gremlin and I were in heaven. We got so much, good quality clothing for our money. I deliberately picked bits I could use over autumn and winter; for example the dresses can be matched with tights and cardys – perfect!

Supermarket fashion is getting better by the day and George are just brilliant and definitely top of the game in my opinion. I know my little Piglet will be getting kitted out there too.

Thanks so much for the opportunity.

Disclosure – we were provided with the clothes from George at Asda in exchange for a blog post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

How gorgeous do you both look?! Fab choice lovely. Dressing during pregnancy is hard enough without having to get something that kind of matches. I love what you picked, you both look lovely. Particularly liking the dresses you got for the gremlin, will have to pop in and have a look at George the next time we’re shopping 🙂 Emily #justanotherlinky
