InkRocket Clothes – **REVIEW**

Before I had kids I wasn’t really into twinning with them but then I had kids and realised it actually looks pretty cool.

When I was contacted by InkRocket to review some items for me and the gremlin, I was really keen.

About InkRocket

InkRocket has a lovely story and was created by Clare who lovely, kind hearted children were very keen to donate their toys and food to poor children in Africa, after finding out about some of the situations children live in over there.

From this it was decided that InkRocket would donate a percentage of sales to needy causes. It was also decided that core range offered at InkRocket would, wherever possible, be sustainably made by companies who believed in respectful treatment and a fair wage for their workers. This is brilliant ethos; environmentally friendly and very ethical.

What is Available at InkRocket?

InkRocket produce a variety of apparel for kids and adults alike with some fab designs and slogans. There is a mix of sweaters, hoodies and tees. Prices start at £16 so very reasonable and there is some lovely stuff.

What Did We Pick?

I was immediately drawn to some sweaters which I knew would be perfect for the cooler months ahead. I just loved the slogans – Wild Child and Wild Mama.

Both these sweaters come in navy and grey. You can buy the child’s one separately; it ranges from age 3 to 14 and is priced at £26. The adult version ranges from extra small to extra large in size and retails at £38. You can buy them together as a set and this works out cheaper at £60.

The child sweat is described online – “Super soft and comfortable with glamorous gold slogan. Our sweatshirts are made from 85% supersoft organic ring-spun combed cotton in a luxurious weight.”

The adult sweat is  described online – “This amazing ‘Wild Mama’ sweatshirt is made from a luxuriously soft organic cotton mixed with tencel fibres. It has a flattering wide drape neckline and a relaxed fit”.

Lovely to see that 15% of the sales are donating to charities as well.

Our Verdict

These sweaters did not disappoint. They are lovely and soft, as described and I just love the neckline on my sweater. I’m a size 8-1o, so ordered an XS and it fit perfectly. The dark blue is lovely and perfect to match with jeans or leggings and I love the gold lettering, as it really stands out. I also really like the half length sleeves, as I often get quite warm and that makes all the difference.

The gremlin’s sweater is also lovely. I feel it has a slightly thicker feel to it so it will be perfect when it cools down. It is still really soft and comfortable.

Size wise she has ages 3-4 and it just fits her well. My daughter is tall and has a long body so it depends on the fit you want. I may have ordered the next size up, so it would have lasted longer. She looks amazing in it and she loves it.

Getting the “wild child” to have some photos was fun as always!

Overall

I was really impressed with these sweaters. They are competitively priced and a lovely quality. More importantly they look fab. There is a great range of designs for you and your family and well worth having a look. A perfect autumn treat!
