I am back at work tomorrow. EEK!
After 13 months off with little Piglet, the time has come to get back to some sort of normality. I have already written about how I feel a little sad about going back. I do like my job but I have had a lovely year and it feels like a wrench leaving my youngest at nursery, even though she is quite settled now.
I thought I would look back through my maternity leave and share some of my favourite photos from the last year. I’m amazed at the difference in quality of my photos as I moved from using my phone to hubby’s camera! Please bear with me.
Gagging for her to Come
I was so uncomfortable at the end this time around. I had 3 weeks off before Little Peanut was born and I definitely ready for her to be born. Every niggle and every twinge….I thought it was time!!
Those First Few Days
I remember that little girl being born like it was yesterday…..
Getting Out and About
I remember taking the little chunk to get registered and enjoying hubby’s paternity leave.
Struggling to Get Anything Done
I did have a little limpet for a bit at the beginning. Best thing was to carry her and crack on!
The Love Growing Between the Girls
The gremlin was mainly a bit rough with her sister when she was tiny but I knew she really loved her from Day 1 and it can be seen from all the pictures of them together.
Occasions
Christmas and holidays flew by in a blur but such lovely times. I was a little stressed over Christmas but this passed in the new year. Hoping things will be a little calmer this year.
Normal Days
The normal days were just the best. The lazy routine, cuddles, cups of tea with friends and my Mum and chatting. Taking the gremlin out and about and Piglet just tagging along. Weekends visiting National Trust and outdoor places.
These were what made my maternity leave so lovely.
I’ve had such a lovely time and I’m sooooo glad I took the full year off.
I had the best time with my girls and family but now it’s time to get my head in gear and use that brain!!
Wish me luck 🙂
Good luck on the return to work. #BloggersBest
