Valentine’s Gift Guide for the Woman in Your Life

Valentine’s Gift Guide for the Woman in Your Life

Disclosure –  #ad we were sent samples of all these products in exchange for inclusion in the gift guide. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

So we can’t forget about the ladies this Valentine’s Day can we? You can read my gift guide for the chaps here if you like!

I must admit, even though we don’t always buy for each other, it is nice to exchange something small on Valentine’s Day. It may sometimes feel like just another day with kids but it is lovely to try and do something a little special.

So here are some of my ideas for the ladies, this year.

1) Moccis

I’m all about being cosy still in February and often I can never really make up my mind whether or not to wear slippers or socks. This is where Moccis are perfect. They are a luxury hand sewn Swedish moccasin and combine a slipper and a sock. They have a soft leather sole that stops slipping and falling down and are super soft and cozy, yet indestructible.

They are ethically produced and machine washable too, with stay dry protection to keep feet warm and dry.

I was sent some lovely Valentine’s Day style Moccis with hearts and these retail at £37. There are loads of designs to choose from and they are available for both adults and children.

2) Ultimate Aloe Skin Gel from Higher Nature

I always love some aloe vera, especially when going on holiday. I do try and look after my skin of course but it is lovely and cooling in the heat and I’m thinking will be lovely on my bump. It is also good for skin irritations.

I was sent some Ultimate Aloe Skin Gel from Higher Nature to try and this is perfect to pop in a little bag or suitcase and take away on a warm trip. This product is vegan and triple concentrated and the most potent formula available. Both sizes currently retail at £15.50 at present.

Higher Nature stock a range of health products, including vitamins and minerals.

3) “Lunch with Harry” short Story by Tony Drury

I know I need to read more. I actually have started to a little and I have decided on maternity leave to sit and read a little more before the baby comes.

I was offered a sample of a short story by Tony Drury and this is one of a series that is a tribute to Breakfast at Tiffany’s.  This short story starts in Regent Street, London in 2016. Audrey Hepburn is recreated in the  character Dr Ella van Houten who has stood on a man’s foot outside Hamleys, the world’s oldest toy shop.  They begin a relationship which is dominated by two features: Ella’s uncanny reprise of Holly’s quirky and insecure nature and Harry’s guilt over the loss of his wife. There is also the impending death of Ella’s brother which bizarrely leads them chasing a figurine of the Mexican general Santa Anna who won the battle for ‘the Alamo’.

“Lunch with Harry” is available through Amazon in paperback at £5.99 or as a Kindle Edition at £1.99.

4) Grey Velvet Jewellery Box from Beautify

My jewellery is always everywhere and the gremlin is a tinker for taking it and putting it in her room. I knew I could do with a jewellery box, that I could keep by my bed.

This grey velvet variety from Beautify is perfect. With dimensions of  L17.5 x W12.5 x H10cm, it retails at £14.99 and has an anti-scratch velvet interior lining which is soft against jewellery, protecting it from damage and scratching. It has an internal removable tray with a ring pad and 2 general purpose containers. Lift this tray to reveal an open, multi-purpose space beneath.

I was very excited to get my jewellery in! This would make a lovely gift too.

5) Personalised “It’s Prosecco O’Clock” Prosecco Gummies from Personally Presented

Prosecco and gummies? This sounded like an amazing combination and with an option to personalise for Valentine’s Day? Even better. You can get these from Personally Presented.

The gummies are alcohol free! You have the option to personalise the label, as you can see from my picture below and the sweets and jar weigh 400g.

Personally Presented has so much choice for gifts: jewellery, home products, clothes and for kids. You will fall down a rabbit hole having a browse but good if you are struggling for Valentine’s ideas.

6) Red Pants by Modibodi

This gift is quite a different one but one that could be really useful for so many girls and women. Red provide underwear and swim wear that is 100% period proof, making women feel secure and confident all the time.

The RED aim to put a stop to period shame which is still quite high in the UK and it is working with young person’s charity Brook (part of Plan UK) to highlight alternative ways for young girls to manage their periods. Made from comfortable cotton and in a variety of funky styles, including spots, stripes and plain, these undies are. stylish, breathable, super soft and hypoallergenic, making them perfect for everyday wear. They can hold 15ml of liquid with no blood or odour visible.

They also help to reduce the amount of single-use products that end up in landfill.  Prices start at £16.50.

7) Ooh La La Lumiere Figureine from Gift Giving all Wrapped Up

I have been so lucky to be sent a product for both of my gift guides, this year from Gift Giving All Wrapped Up. I mentioned in my male gift guide how much I love this website and could spend a fortune, as they have so many original quirky gifts and if you are a Disney fan, you will go nuts.

I was sent this amazing Disney Traditions Ooh La La Lumiere figurine which retails at £25.00. It is 12cm and I know will look perfect on my mantle piece.

Definitely have a nosy at Gift Giving All Wrapped up if you love Beatrix Potter, Disney or Willow Tree products.

8) Twist and Spritz Fragrance Atomiser from The Fragrance Shop

Lugging a bottle of perfume around isn’t really practical but these twist and spritz fragrance atomisers from The Fragrance Shop.

They retail at £10 and allow you to take your favourite perfume around with you and they have a wider design to allow you to fill from a larger range of perfume bottles.

I used to have one of these nifty little products but it went awol and I was definitely keen to have another! So useful.

9) A Personalised Mini Message Necklace from Find me A Gift

I love both personalised products and jewellery and this lovely personalised Mini Message Necklace from Find me a Gift.

These start at £27 and come in silver, gold plated and rose gold plated. It can be personalised with your own message (up to 14 characters), either on a 16 or 18 inch chain. Each ring is 1.2cm in diameter and it comes in a beautiful presentation box.
