Halloween Dessert Recipes – Easy and Delicious!

Over the last few years I have got more and more excited about Halloween. I think it stemmed from starting to take my eldest trick or treating. I completely changed my mind on trick or treating as I used to be against it really. But seeing my eldest get all dressed up and how completely excited she was, made me melt, like a soppy candle!! We have started decorating the house a little more, carving pumpkins and watching spooky films. Even my middle child is more excited this year though I am sure she doesn’t have a clue what it is!! I’m not always that creative in the kitchen but this is something, I am trying to change with more cooking and recipes on the blog for you. I thought some Halloween dessert recipes would be fun this year.

I decided to ask some of the talented blogging community for their recipes and ideas and of course they did not fail me!

EASY HALLOWEEN MARSHMALLOW GHOST POPS

Jenny from Midwife and Life has created these easy marshmallow ghost pops! Really effective and good ones to give out for trick or treating. My eldest is a big marshmallow fiend so I know she will love these.

FRANKENSTEIN CUPCAKES HALLOWEEN TREAT

The clever Angela from The Inspiration Edit has created these Frankenstein cupcakes and I have to say they look amazing. If you were having a Halloween party, they would sure to impress.

I love those little eyes.

HALLOWEEN CANDY MELT SPOONS

Anthea from Blue Bear Wood has made these Halloween Candy Melt Spoons which I found really original! The recipe is simple and the result is so effective!

These would get scoffed in our house.

These Halloween Teacake Spider Treats from The Gingerbread House look and sound amazing. They are so easy and loads of fun for kids!

ZOMBIE BROWNIES – HALLOWEEN DESSERT RECIPE

I loved the sound of these as anything Zombie makes me think of The Walking Dead. This amazing recipe from Rachel from The Marvellous Mrs P. They are rich, colourful and so clever.

SALTED CARAMEL TART – HALLOWEEN DESSERT RECIPE

This delicious recipe from Jenny from The Bear and the Fox not only looks so tasty, it is also gluten-free. Perfect for a Halloween meal or party!

MONSTER VEGAN CUPCAKES – DAIRY, SOYA & EGG FREE

These cupcakes are perfect for anyone with allergies or following a restricted diet. A fabulous recipe from Lauren at Dilan and Me look so bright and colourful and will have little ones thrilled this Halloween.

HALLOWEEN CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

Sophie from Soph Obsessed  has this very colourful Halloween cake, perfect for parties that cream-cheese frosting looks incredible!

I love the orange and black layers too.

PEANUT BUTTER MONSTER KRISPIE CAKES

I love an excuse for a Krispie cake and why should Halloween be any different? This recipe by Ruth from Craft with Cartwright are simple and effective. They also have peanut butter in, which is one of my favourites!

HALLOWEEN SHORTBREAD BISCUITS – HALLOWEEN DESSERT RECIPE

I adore shortbread and it is definitely a family favourite. Rachael from Lukeosaurus and Me shares this tasty recipe for Halloween Shortbread biscuits. They looks great for kids to get involved in making too.
