Christmas is always a time for new clothes and treating yourself. You may be going to Christmas parties and get togethers. I was lucky to get a Mum’s Christmas night out, as didn’t make my work one, as being off on maternity leave. This was a perfect excuse to get dressed up and glammed up! Christmas is also a great time for chilling out too and being comfortable. I have had some really nice stuff for autumn from Femme Luxe Finery and they also helped me get a little out of my comfort zone after having my little boy.
This time I am looking at clothes I may be able to wear over the Christmas period and this is what I have chosen.
The first item I went for was these Mid Wash Distressed Ripped Mom Jeans from the Jeans Collection. These currently retail at £12.99 and come in sizes 6 to 14.
I have really loved the Mom Jean fashion recently. I usually wear really tight jeans and and it is great to be able to wear baggy, more high waisted styles. I can team with ankle boots and trainers for a good look!! So comfy too, even on he more bloated days.
These jeans from Femme Luxe are perfect for lounging around and watching a Christmas film on the sofa. I chose a size 10 and they were quite roomy. I probably could have got away with a size 8 in these.
My second item was a Black Long Sleeve Side Cut Bodysuit from the Bodysuits Collection.
I chose a size 10 in this and I have to admit it was a little tight, in the respect that it wasn’t actually long enough for my body. I struggled to do up the poppers, so you may need a bigger size. It comes in sizes 6 to 14. Otherwise I liked the look of it and perfect with high-waisted jeans for a smarter Christmas look.
My third item was a White Give In To Me Print Tee from the T-Shirts Collection. This currently retails at £5.99 and I chose a size 10. I love slogan tees and I also liked the cropped element of these as well. I’m making the most of having a flat stomach while I can!! the tees from Femme Luxe as such good value and the others I have, do wash well.
This is perfect to wear with my ripped jeans for a chilled look over Christmas. The cardigan is my own!
My fourth item combined my love of animal print and getting dressed up in this Brown Leopard Print Satin Bodycon Mini Dress from the Mini Dress Collection.
This retails at £13.99 and I chose a size 10. It’s available in sizes 6 to 12. Unfortunately this dress didn’t fit me too well, but I could try on to show you. I think I need a little more boob room in the top half, which is a first for me!! I’m usually struggling to fill.
I’m looking forward to having some chill time over the Christmas period and getting a little dressed up too! It’s a perfect excuse to plan what to wear!
