I have now come to the end of my breastfeeding journey with the little man. I don’t feel too sad, as we lasted 13 months and the transition from feeding to stopping wasn’t too difficult. He started having a bottle of cow’s milk before bed and my husband started to settle him more at night, if he woke, rather than me feeling. I was only doing this once a night anyway, so this wasn’t difficult.
It does feel like the end of an era, as I breastfed all three of my children and I feel very proud! It can be hard work in those early days and I’m glad I kept going, when there were some occasions I really wanted to stop!
