The Summer Holidays with NOW TV

The Summer Holidays with NOW TV

I have just posted a blog post today about the pressures of the summer holidays with kids. You do kind of feel guilty for letting the kids have a bit of TV time sometimes, well I know I do!! The clock ticks over an hour and I always feel like it’s time to turn if off.

Thing I don’t know why I make myself feel like this?!

We have recently had a bit of a disaster and had our holiday with friends cancelled due to flight disruptions. This was very disappointing and we had to make some changes to plans and start thinking about what we were going to do with the girls for an extra week.

Luckily the weather has been amazing and we have had some brilliant days out; local National Trusts and country parks, museums and into town and out for lunch. The girls walk and play and work their little legs off. We always all return home mid to late afternoon tired and ready to chill.

My eldest loves her TV and chill time, so what was better than a 3 month subscription to NOW TV for kids? I realise when the girls have been running around all day, an hour of TV is fine for them to unwind and I also realise it is perfect when the girls are driving me completely bonkers!!

now TV passes

The NOW TV kids pass has 1000s of kid’s shows on demand and it gives them so much choice; shows for both my 1 year old and 4 year old.  It is really easy for them to have some relaxing time and for me to get a few jobs done. Let’s face it, the summer holidays can feel very long!

The gremlin was sent some lovely gifts, including a personalised suitcase, headphones, a cushion and a drinks bottle. Although our holiday was cancelled, she is planning on packing her suitcase for when she goes to stay with her Great Nanny for a weekend in the middle of August, so all is not lost!

NOW TV certainly did not forget about us adults, as we were sent a 3 month Entertainment pass, so we can continue re-watching Dexter when the kids (finally) get to bed! There are so many different shows for us to pick from, something for us all.

I definitely feel after 2 weeks off, I have mellowed a little with how much TV time is allowed. We have been so busy. I have been hitting my 10,000 steps, so I definitely think our NOW TV passes will be coming to good use. And with the coolers, autumn months on their way, snuggling down at night in front of a box set will be lovely.

Caspian would love this as they have so many of his favourites. She looks so happy. TV can be a positive part of the day for sure.
