Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Mother’s Day Gift Guide

#ad these products were provided in exchange for featuring in this Mother’s Day gift guide. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have to admit I do like Mother’s Day. Even if they don’t always go to plan, hubby is good at making me breakfast in bed and the grem always makes me a pretty card. I’m not as fussed about getting presents but it is nice to be spoilt and have some time with my girls (and this year maybe boy too!!!)

I love to come up with some ideas for Mother’s Day and here are some lovely ones for you to have a think about or perhaps to request for yourself. I have quite eclectic taste for sure!

1) The Book of Mum from The Book of Everyone

I love these personalised books by The Book of Everyone. This Mother’s Day, I picked The Book of Mum.

These books are so original and cool! I had one for my husband for his birthday and he absolutely loved. Each page is packed with facts and little nuggets of information. You can also personalise little bits so it special for your Mum this Mother’s Day, including the colour of the book.

If you choose a soft back book, they retail at £23.99 and this increases up to a deluxe edition at £39.99. There is also the option to record a personal message too, to make it extra special.

It’s such a different idea and really lovely.

2) Socks from Society Socks

If you are anything like me, I never buy socks, EVER. I end up wearing the same ones for years, so socks will always be welcomed as a gift for me.

Socks from Society Socks

Look no further than Society Socks.

Society Socks offer a men’s socks subscription service and gift sets for women. However for each pair sold, a pair is donated. So you receive 2 pairs monthly and 2 pairs are donated. The socks are custom-designed and the brand supports homeless charities across the USA and Canada.

Sock subscriptions start at £44 for three months. A women’s subscription is to launch soon!

3) Protein Balls from The Protein Ball Co

This may seem like quite a unique gift for Mother’s Day but as someone who a) trains and b) is quite often permanently hungry, I knew these protein balls would be a perfect gift for me.

Protein Balls from The Protein Ball Co

The Protein Ball Co. is actually a subscription, £22 for a one off box or £18 a month, if you decide you would like regularly. Each bag contains 6 and some are vegan, others made of whey protein. Each bag contains 6 balls and they come in a variety of different flavours, including lemon and pistachio, cherry Bakewell and peanut butter and jam.

The balls are all gluten free, wheat free, vegetarian and contain no soy, GMO’s or added sugars. A perfect snack and each have 10g of protein.

I bet you know a few health and fitness Mums who would love a box!

4) Coffee from Extract

I’m not a huge coffee drinker but my Mum likes the odd cup and I know so many Mums cannot even function without a cup of coffee to start the day!

Extract Coffee Roasters supply all sorts of amazing flavours in whole bean or ground varieties. You can even get a monthly subscription. I decided to choose cast iron espresso and original espresso both priced at £6.95.

They smell amazing and would make a lovely gift for a Mum who loves their coffee and may need that caffeine hit. Well, we Mums are often very tired!!

Do you know any ladies that do not wear leggings at some point? They are the most comfortable clothing ever and so versatile. When I was offered a pair of not just leggings but maternity leggings from Love Leggings I was thrilled, as totally running out of clothes in my last few weeks of pregnancy.

9) Red Letter Day Experience

I love an experience day and to be honest since having the little ones, I don’t feel I get enough time to go and do something with my Mum. This is where a Red Letter Day Experience may be perfect. Also, you may not be keen on buying a material item as a gift and would prefer to do something, that involves quality time with your Mum.

There are so many choices, including spa days, afternoon tea, hotel stays, driving experiences, jewellery making and dining out to name a few! You have 10 months to book after receiving your experience and there are free exchanges.

Personally I love an afternoon tea and will be hoping to take my Mum out for one, after my little baby is born. I’ll be able to get that little glass of fizz that comes with it!

Three Mills is named after the old three tower windmills that used to be adjacent to the Norfolk winery. There are red, white and rose varieties and all three are vegan and vegetarian. Perfect to enjoy with a Mother’s Day meal.

Ada and Alfred is run by Mum of 2 lovely boys, Alex.

There are so many cool slogan tees and sweaters to choose from, all helping you get through the amazing, exhausting journey that is motherhood! The designs are funny, relatable and inspiring.
