AD – I think for children playing with dolls, having all the matching parts and accessories to make looking after that doll really authentic. Children love to imitate their parents and it’s all about pretending to feed their dolls, change their nappies and out them to bed. Love to watch my girls do this too; it’s really cute and I Iike to see their caring sides. My girls both love their dolls and we recently reviewed the BABY Born Brother doll and my middle child also received the BABY Born Magic Bed Heaven to try too.

The product includes fabric canopy, bedding, cuddly Bruno bear and removable side parts. The batteries are not included and the product is aimed at children aged 3 years and older.

Setting Up the Product
I always wonder how easy it will be to set up a product for a review when my hubby isn’t helping me out! The BABY Born Magic Bed Heaven was pretty easy. I didn’t really even use the instructions! It all came in a bag and you simply clipped the sides to the base.
You then added the pink sides, again very easily clipped on.
You then added the canopy and can make the bed.
Our Thoughts
The only thing my middle child was a bit confused about the BABY Born Magic Bed Heaven was it didn’t rock! She thought it was like a crib and wanted to rock her BABY Born Brother. I had to explain it didn’t, so I do think it is important children realise that it is a bed and not a crib.
She has loved it though. It’s the first product she has had that’s not her sisters and has loved playing with it. She loves putting her dolls to bed, pretending to let them sleep.
It was easy to turn the product on, after putting in the batteries. You do need to buy these and will need a screwdriver.
All you do if place your baby into the crib and crying noises will start. If you then place the little bear to the left of the baby on the bear spot on the blanket, the crying stops. The baby laughs and breathing noises start, as your baby falls asleep. This was really cute.
We found if we didn’t place the bear in the right spot, the crying didn’t stop, so remember this one if you are struggling.
The product is pretty sturdy, as I have had to carry it up and down the stairs for my little one when she has wanted to take it to bed and bring it back downstairs.
Overall it is a really lovely product and perfect for kids who love their babies and want I make believe putting them to bed and settling them.
I only wish my babies settled and stopped crying as quick!

It makes such a difference when they have a bed for their dolls. My boys really wanted one for their ‘babies’ so I got them a beautiful little willow basket that was big enough to hold both dolls.
