The Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for Him and Her | AD

The Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for Him and Her | AD

I love the Christmas gift guides for the kids but I have to admit I do like presents too at Christmas. Hubby and I do always buy for each other. I think, as Christmas was such a big deal to me as a child, it still is really as an adult. We spend less but I do prefer to have lots of little things to open on Christmas morning. I do think I will be fighting with my kids as usual though; they always want to open my stuff. Also whenever I want to open my presents they want me to play and I never get a minute to myself. The joys of being a parent eh?

Ah I digress! Time to talk about Christmas gifts. So this year I decided to bulk together an Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for him and her and here are some of my suggestions for you.

For Her

This Christmas, surprise her with one of the lash lift starter kits. It’s a perfect gift for those who appreciate a good lash game!

A Prosecco Glass from Cocktail Collections by Lolita

Now that I can have a drink again, after having the little man, I do like the odd. glass of Prosecco. This Lolita Blushing Snowflakes Prosecco Glass is stunning to have a glass, especially over the festive period. Its so beautiful! This retails at £18 and is hand painted. It is made from artisan blown glass and is hand wash only.

Lolita have a range of beautiful glasses, they are so unique and definitely would make a special one happy!

Cloud Storage Pot from Red Candy

If you are a stationary lover like me and have a work space, a pen holder is a perfect present. I have a rainbow-themed desk area and this cloud storage pot from Red Candy is a lovely idea; practical but different.

It is made of plastic and can it can fix to the wall via either screws or suction pads, making it ideal for rented accommodation. It retails at £11.90.

Leggings from Love Leggings

I am such a gym-goer. If you follow my blog you will know that. For me, any active-wear is a perfect present, as I don’t tend to buy. it for myself throughout the rest of the year! These beautiful focus full length dusty pink sports leggings from Love Leggings, I can’t wait to wear. They are designed for yoga and the studio and retail at £28. They support with a flattering v-shaped waist. They are also made from a thick material but the fabric naturally breaths to keep you cool!

Love Leggings stock a range of legging products, not just for the gym or yoga but for everyday wear, including maternity wear. Worth a look!

Personalised Butterfly Pearl Bracelet from The Personalised Gift Shop

I love personalised products, especially jewellery. I love to get things with my children’s names on. Although I don’t share them on the blog and the image below is blurred, you can see this lovely Butterfly Pearl Bracelet from the Personalised Gift Shop would make a lovely present.

It’s made from 6mm Swarovski pearls, with a sterling silver heart engraved with a word of your choice. It retails at £22.99 and you can pick a traditional pearl colour or smoked grey.

I can’t wait to wear!

A Make-Up Train Case from Ellis James Designs

I like to be organised with my beauty products when I go on holiday and this make-up train case from Ellis James Designs would be ideal. I just like to know I can pack everything well!

See here for the make-up train case in more details but it has:

  • 12 Multi-sized brush or tool slots
  • Large main compartment with 4 removable velcro dividers
  • A removable zip pouch for all your on-the-go essentials

Its a soft touch quilted nylon and can be wiped clean inside.

Sponges from Ramer Sponges

Since I have had kids, I have realised how useful sponges can be; for both them and me. Ramer Sponges cater for all your sponge needs! Male grooming, washing, baby care and beauty!

They are super soft and super absorbent and hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. We were sent some to try and they are lovely. Fabulous in the bath for me and the children. They would make a lovely stocking filler for someone!

Glitter Face Masks with T-Zone

I love a good pamper, when I ever get time, and what perfect way to do this is with a face mask? I particularly love these glitter ones from T-Zone Skincare.

The T-Zone Glitter Mask Peel Off Black draws out impurities to help keep skin clear. It contains strawflower & centella asiatica extracts help the skin look more vibrant and glowing.

T-Zone Glitter Mask Peel Off Silver has a similar effect but contains witch hazel extract to help refine pores for a flawless complexion.

Both are available in Superdrug.

Poo-Pourri

I shouldn’t giggle, as it’s a poo product but this little nifty Poo-Pourri is perfect for people who worry a little about the after effects of having a poo! I mean the smell!

This is how is works! When spritzed into the toilet bowl before-you-go, Poo-Pourri’s blend of NATURAL ESSENTIAL OILS creates a film on the surface of the water. This traps odour under the surface, before it ever begins! All you’ll smell is a bouquet of NATURAL ESSENTIAL OILS. Perfect when out and about!

I love the names too! Royal Flush and Deja Poo!  Perfect, fun little stocking filler.

Tanning Products from St Moriz

After Christmas, we are certainly not dreaming of snow anymore and likely to be thinking about a holiday and getting a lovely (healthy) glow. In the meantime why not fake it with these products from St Moriz?

5 in 1 Dark Tanning Mousse from St Moriz – allows you to develop a professional, natural looking deep tan. It’s specialist multi-tasking formulation will provide extra moisturisation, a luxurious luminous finish and a longer lasting golden tan. It ensures ease of application and full coverage. St. Moriz Professional Body Bronzer & Highlighter – This is an ideal tan-enhancing body bronzer and highlighter for a defined ta. Build colour and contour with the buttery matte bronzer and finish with a dust of shimmer using the pigmented pearly-pink highlighter. Will help to give you a healthy glow!

For Him

An Experience with Red Letter Days

Men are notoriously hard to buy for and I often think my hubby gets more stuff and it just clutters up the house. This is where an Experience from Red Letter Days can be the answer to both of those issues. Red Letter days have a Christmas box that offers 2625 experience to choose from! It retails at £49.99 and there are a vast range of choices, including dinner out, afternoon tea, beauty treatments and cookery classes!

A perfect gift for your fussy guy.

A Lyle And Scott Long Sleeve Oxford Shirt from Mainline Menswear

Hubby doesn’t always treat himself to clothes that are not in the sale. He also doesn’t always pick designer options, so when he was offered a Lyle and Scott shirt from Mainline Menswear, I knew he would be very keen. This green long sleeved Oxford shirt retails at £55 and comes in sizes small to XX large. It is 100% cotton and has a pouch pocket feature on the left of the chest with the signature embroidered Lyle And Scott Golden Eagle logo badge on the pocket trim in yellow and black.

Mainline Menswear offer a vast range of designer clothes and accessories for men. If you are looking for choice, check them out.

Chocolates from Guylian

Christmas would not be Christmas without chocolate for my husband. Guylian Belgian chocolates used to be my favourite when I was a child and I used to want to pinch them off my Mum, who always had them for Christmas.

We were sent the Guylian Praline Sea Shells (250g) and these are made using only the finest, hand selected Mediterranean hazelnuts, which are roasted and caramelised before being blended with premium Belgian chocolate. Delicious! This box retails at £5 but is available in a 375g box for £7.50.

Whisky from Tomatin distillery – Legacy

A nice whisky is a lovely Christmas gift, and as I’m writing this with a steaming cold, I think it would probably help me more!

This Legacy variety from Tomatin distillery has spent time maturing in Bourbon barrels and Virgin Oak casks, resulting in a sweet, light, refreshing and universally versatile whisky. Legacy boasts aromas of vanilla, marshmallow, pineapple and lemon. On the palate gentle flavours emerge ahead of a light, clean finish.

It currently retails at £30.
