REVIEW – Trespass Walking Boots

AD – Hubby, the gremlin and I love our National Trust membership. It’s fab getting out and about and going for a cheeky lunch at the cafe. However me being me; I have zero decent equipment for going walking in not the best conditions. Mud, rain, snow! I’d be stuffed. Sometimes one needs to put function over fashion (now I really sound like a Mother). When Trespass got in touch asking if I would like to review a product, I thought a member of their team must have been reading my mind.

I opted for a pair of walking boots. I opted for a pair of Women’s Leather Walking Boots, a grey pair with a green trim as I still like a bit of colour. They are currently retailing at £46.99.These boots are water resistant and have Tres-Tex technology which repels water. They are also made with a breathable fabric to maximise comfort. The soles are rubber and designed for grip and safety when out walking. I couldn’t wait to receive my order!

I wasn’t disappointed.

What Did I Think of the Trespass Walking Boots?

The boots looked brilliant. Really funky but yet functional and I didn’t think they looked bad with my ripped skinny jeans either.

We had planned a walk at our local National Trust place – Baddesley Clinton. The weather had been wet previously and I knew I needed some protection from the muddy puddles.

Hubby advised I put some other shoes in the car, just in case the boots proved uncomfortable. I actually didn’t listen but I didn’t have anything to worry about. We walked about for around an hour with the little one and my feet were really comfortable. The rubber sole did give me a solid feeling when walking over rocks or any even surfaces. I actually forget I was wearing new shoes to be honest, which is a brilliant feeling. They got a bit muddy but the boots were easy to clean.

I was extremely pleased with the Boots from Trespass. They were good value for money, functional and for a bit of a fashion lover, like myself, they looked pretty good.

If you are needing some decent boots, wellies, waterproofs, any outdoor clothes or footwear, why don’t you head on over and have a look? Definitely an excuse to get outdoors and get fitter too.

Disclosure – these boots were provided in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wow, they are really nice!! I’ve got some walking boots that really need replacing, and those really are lovely!! We cancelled our national trust membership as we found managing the children together so difficult when one was a non walker and the other a just about walker, that we stopped going! But now they’re both moving so independently, we will restart it, and I’ll be needing some new boots!

These look really nice! I must admit that I do love my walking boots (also Trespass). I even converted the hubby as when we first met and I introduced him to the odd hike, he would insist on going in just trainers and jogging bottoms. We even had a very unprepared and inpromptu attempt at climbing Snowdon while he was wearing the very same? After ending up knee deep in a bog he admitted defeat and we got him a pair, which he now loves! (We returned to climb Snowdon a month or so later – both with our walking boots on, and they were worth their weight in gold!)

I think I may need a new pair having seen yours. They’re very swish! 🙂

Not your typical ugly hiking boots- I wouldn’t say you were putting function over fashion.

I’ve always bought Trespass for the kids as they’re reasonably priced and their little feet grow so quickly I begrudge spending a fortune. Didn’t even know they did adult sizes will take a look! #bestandworst

They are actually quite pretty for such a functional shoe. I love the bright laces 🙂 I am the fool who owns nothing practical at all so am often stuck with sore feet with only myself to blame #BestandWorst

I love the look of those. Not the type of boots I’d typically buy, buy definitely the type I should probably think about investing in for exactly the same reason you have them. Sometimes function over fashion pays when it comes to doing things with little ones! Emily #bestandworst

I am increasingly improving on the function over fashion thing now I run around after toddlers all day. My footwear particularly has changed. I also actually like those boots – they’re cute. Walking boots are definitely useful to for, well, walking! #bestandworst
