Purflo Breathable Sleep Nest **REVIEW**

AD – Sleep. It is basically all we care about as parents. Our babies, our children and of course ours. Anything that will maximise sleep for any of us is gratefully appreciated. When I was asked to review the Purflo Breathable Sleep Nest and I saw the word sleep in the title, I didn’t have to be asked twice.

More About the Purflo Nest

purflo website

The Purflo nest has a PurAir padded bumper and a 3D mesh base which are fully breathable. I have seen some pictures of little ones being able to sleep on their tummies in this if they prefer. The bumper filling is hypoallergenic, naturally breathable and anti-bacterial. You can remove the cover from the bumper; it is made of jersey cotton and this and the 3D mesh are washable at 40 degrees.

It can be used from birth and is very light – 1.25kg so is perfect for taking places where needed.

Other uses for the nest include tummy time for your little one, a lounger, a place to change a nappy and even as a travel cot.

I knew this product would be used more for daytime naps, as Piglet sleeps in the Moses basket really well at night. However, it can be used in cribs or obviously the cot. I’m thinking we may put it in there when we move her over.

I have a lot of issues putting Piglet down for naps during the day; basically she wakes up all the time! Occasionally she will sleep in her bouncer for a while but not always.

She will however, sleep in the nest. She has even nodded off herself with no assistance in it! This is awesome as sometimes she is a bit of a limpet baby.

We have also used it to put her in to chill for a bit, whilst awake and she will happily sit there for a while, which gives me a bit of free time to get a few bits done (those moments are so precious).

Overall the product is great. It has so many uses and ultimately provides your little ones and you with the gift of sleep! I feel I can leave little Piglet in there to chill or snooze and not worry and I love the fact that it is breathable and washable.

If you are thinking of a baby essential; add this to your list.

Disclosure – we were provided with the product free of charge. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

These things are invaluable! Anything that helps them sleep! We had one similar by a different brand and I wouldn’t have been without it. #TwinklyTuesday

How have you find it with Gremlim? My friends little boys lives to try and pick up his baby sister. Just intrigued whether she lives her sister peacefully? X

This looks really good. We used to just make a nest with towels and that worked just as well. Looks good to give your arms a rest and so you can get things done! #bestandworst

I haven’t heard of this product before. It looks and sounds so useful! Best part seems to be that it’s both easy to transport and breathable (great of peace of mind) at the same time. Definitely going to look into this a bit more for baby #2 we have arriving in March. #bestandworst

Sounds like a great product. I could have done with one of these when my tworld ere babies. They never named longer than ten minutes. In the end I resorted to putting my youngest to sleep on her tummy lying horizontally across a pillow for naps. Not ideal but needs must.
