Lictin Baby Carrier – REVIEW | AD

mum with baby on front using lictin baby wrap

Baby wearing can be a complete godsend when you have a newborn baby. My eldest wasn’t too bad and would be put (when she wasn’t feeding all the time) but Little Piglet and the little man in particular have been carried around a lot! My hubby often does this the most, as he is the biggest and can cope with their weight for the longest time. It helps so much as the little man would often have a sleep, or just chill out. I never really know which baby carrier is best and you often have to test a few. I found a sling really hard to get on with so was keen to have a try of the Lictin Baby Carrier and here is the Lictin Baby Carrier Review.

Lictin baby carrier

Newborn babies just want to be close to you. They know nothing else apart from the warmth and comfort of the womb. A heartbeat and constant feeding. They don’t understand sleeping alone, pooping, wind or colic. They hate being cold and sleep so well when snuggled close to you. A baby carrier can really be a no brainer in the early days.

Lictin Baby Carrier Instructions – How to Use

The Lictin Baby Carrier instructions are very easy to follow and come in a picture guide for you but it was very easy to get started.

You literally open the box and take the Lictin Baby Carrier out of the packet and it ready to go. Simple!

You can wear your baby three ways: on the front, hip and back. I tested out the front and back, as these would be the ways I would wear my little man. The instructions are very easy to visualise what you have do.

It’s very soft with wide straps so looked comfortable. These are adjustable.

I liked the little detachable sleeping hood too!

It also has a front pocket and zipper pouch, perfect for storing things.

Lictin Baby Carrier – How to Use on The Front

I decided to try the little man on my front first and it was quite easy. You put the belt around you waist and velcro it secure. There is also a large clip and this helps to make the belt wider.

You then slot your baby in, supporting them with one hand and putting your shoulder straps on with the other. I did need some help with the clips at the back from my husband. You may be able to do this with some practice.

It felt secure and comfortable and my little man seemed to like being close to me.

How to Use on The Back

We then had a go with him on my back! I realise on my picture afterwards his arms could be under the straps for more security but he seemed to prefer my back!! I reckon he could see a little more. I did need a little help with getting him in from my husband but I reckon with a bit of practice, I could do it! It felt comfortable and I didn’t have any pain.

Our Thoughts

For the price, I was really impressed with this Lictin baby carrier. It was so easy to get set up. Usually I stare at the instructions for ages and need a bit of help but the baby wrap instructions were easy to follow. The only thing I struggled with was finding the straps to put around my back when wearing my little man on my front.  My hubby did this easily though.

Otherwise, I literally took it out of the box and wrapper, adjusted the shoulder straps slightly for me and the little man and put it on. It was simple to adjust the carrier too.

I did only try him on my front and back, as this would be how we would baby wear. I found the front slightly more comfortable. My little man is around 10kg now and I like the way the carrier starts at newborn and goes up to 15kg (which is actually the weight of my 3 year old). It will last for a good while.

The carrier was soft and comfortable and would be fine for taking my little man to the park or out for a walk. It’s likely my hubby would carrier him for longer, as he gets heavy quite quickly now!!

Overall, I was really taken with the Lictin baby carrier. Comfortable, a really good price and easy to use. When you have a small baby, these three things are all you want in a product!

I used to have a baby carrier and could never get on with them haha! Too many clips and straps to work out. I do think they are brilliant though, it’s like giving our kids constant hugs but our hands are free 🙂

What an incredible price for a baby carrier! I am such a big fan of babywearing since having our second baby – it’s the only way to have two hands free that I found worked 🙂
