My middle daughter and the little man are OBSESSED with Hey Duggee. In fact, as I type up this review, the little man is sat next to me watching Hey Duggee and having his chill time. I have to admit, it’s a lovely show. For me it’s all about the music. I love it and we regularly put the music on when we are playing and just hanging out. My kids live in Duggee clothes. Basically it’s a Hey Duggee house. Of course when we were given the chance to review the Hey Duggee Flip and Learn phone this was a huge yes!
My 3 year old was convinced it was for her but I knew my baby boy may prefer to play with it and maybe more suited but I was excited to see!
More About the Hey Duggee Flip and Learn Phone
The Hey Duggee Flip and Learn Phone is aimed at children 18 months and older and currently RRPs at £10.99. You can find it here at John Lewis.
It’s greats very interactive and helps little one learn their colours, numbers and also has some very fun facts from the Squirrels.
The phone has a backlit screen and asks the children to find numbers and colours. They can also pretend to take pictures and listen to funny greetings.
It’s really cute and good for fine motor skills.
Our Thoughts
Well I knew the Hey Duggee Flip and Learn Phone would be a hit with both my younger kids and it really was. The phone is really easy for my 12 month old to pick up and open. He could easily press the buttons and loved listening to Duggee. For him it was all about pressing the buttons and exploring. It kept him busy for a good while.
The phone is quite bulky in a good way, as durable and good for small hands.
My three year old could follow the tasks and pick the correct colours and numbers and then heard a fun fact. She used it more for imaginary games too. She is obsessed with anything phone related and loves to pretend! It was good to confirm how well she knows her numbers and colours though!
Overall we thought the Hey Duggee Flip and Learn phone is lovely for Hey Duggee fans and price-wise it is perfect for a gift. I love the way it brings the characters to life but is good for learning.
I think it was perfect for my little boy but my three year old loved it too, so worth it for babies through to toddlers.
