I love my style and fashion. I must admit since having kids I do feel a bit more casual and don’t tend to buy as much glamorous apparel but I like to look nice generally and always try and keep up to date with the current styles. Lockdown has thrown a huge spanner in the works! We are simply not going anywhere and I bought a lovely blouse and a couple of tees before the lockdown was announced and I just haven’t worn them. I’m more worried about the baby smearing his food or snot all over me, as I’ve lost my baby-free days now. I’m living in lounge wear, active wear and basically anything that is comfortable. Lockdown style is a thing!
Just because I’m at home however, I have been trying to do my make-up and make a slight bit of effort most days. This is mainly for my mental health and to feel good!
So I thought why not enjoy my lockdown style? I’ve worked with Femme-Luxe Finery before, regaining my confidence after a baby, for Christmas style and popping some colour back into my wardrobe and they have sent me some garments perfect for lounging during lockdown.
Here is what I chose.
My first item was a Grey Loungewear tracksuit from the Loungewear Collection.
This retails at £18.99 and is available in a variety of colours and and comes in small to large sizes (up to size 14). This was really comfy for chilling with the kids. I wore it for one of our walks and teamed up with my chunky trainers.
The second item I picked was from Black Oversize Leggings Loungewear Set from the Two-Piece Sets Collection. Theis set retails at £19.99. They are available in other colours and in small to large sizes. I particularly like the top, as really baggy and comfy. Perfect for lounging! The leggings are also really nice and not too tight!
The third item I picked from the from the T-Shirts Collection.
This White ‘Got A Connection’ Slogan Print Crew Neck T-Shirt retails at £4.99 and is such a bargain. I really rate the tees from Femme-Luxe as good value and do last. This is available in sizes small to large. The tee was a good fit and looked pretty good with the black leggings from my loungewear set above.
My fourth item was something a little more glam. There is only so much lounging you can do eh?
I chose this Pink Mesh Tie Bow Front Ribbed Frill Top that retails at £11.99. This is from the long-sleeved tops collection.
I love the colour, as so vibrant and we have had some lovely sunny days. Sizes range from small to large (up to size 14). This was so lovely and bright! I thought the bow would be fussy but it was great!
I’m hoping it won’t be long before we have so freedom again and can start wearing some of the clothes I bought before the pandemic! However for now I’ll enjoy my lounging and loungewear!
