Spring Fashion Ideas – A Pop of Colour | AD

spring fashion

I am dying for spring to come now. I’m not usually one of those people who wish the time away and want the next season to come but after a whole month of rain and cold, some sunshine would be fabulous. This also means spring fashion!

Spring is so colourful, as all the flowers come into bloom and the blossom is on the trees. It is a beautiful time and of course it doesn’t start to warm up a little and you start to get hints of even summer coming and considering swapping your teddy coat for a denim jacket.

Colour in the world also means colour in my wardrobe and I’ve teamed up again with Femme-Luxe Finery for some more colourful outfits, this spring. I’ve worked with Femme-Luxe Finery a few times and they have sorted me out for autumn fashion ideas, Christmas and helped me get out of my comfort zone with clothes a little.

What sort of things did I choose this time?

Spring Fashion Ideas – What Did I Choose?

Colour was important for me and the first item I chose was a lovely pale pink; this Pink Mesh Floral Sleeve Ribbed Top from the Mesh Tops Collection.

This top ranges from sizes 6 to 14 and retails at £19.99.

I love the colour and it is fab with jeans and heels. Really spring-like! The sleeves are quite puffy, bear this in mind! At first I wasn’t sure the sleeves were too puffy for me but actually I really like them now. Things always grow on me.

The second item I chose was a fabulous polka-dot design which is so bright and cheerful! This Pink Polka Dot Organza Collar Mesh Top is from the Shirts and Blouses Collection.

It retails at £13.99 and comes in sizes 6-12. The top features a contrasting black polka dot pattern, sheer organza mesh material with a collar.

I actually think this would be quite smart for a work function or a talk. I love the bright colour and the polka dots. So very me.

I teamed the polka dot top up with the third item I chose, some Black Cargo Slim Fit Trousers from the Trousers Collection. These retail at £18.99 and come in sizes 6-16.

These feature a camo fabric, multiple pockets and elasticated ankle cuffs. They fit well on me but were a little short in the length. I may need to wear with heels on a night out.

My final choice was some light coloured jeans for the spring months! I went for the Blue Light Wash High Waisted Extreme Rip Knee Denim Jeans from the Jeans Collection.

These retail at £17.99 and range from size 6 to 14.

Now these are extreme rip and I do have quite slim legs and a knobbly knees! They were a little big for me so consider that if you are very slim but I loved the colour and they fit well on my bottom! I had chosen a size 10.

I’m really excited for the warmer weather to come and being able to dig the Spring clothes out. Less layers and less worrying about keeping warm.

What will you be wearing this Spring?

I love that baby pink top. The lace detail on the arms is so unique! It is nice to pop a bit of colour in Spring isn’t it?

The pink mesh top is absolutely gorgeous, definitely something that I would wear during Spring.

Pink really suits you. I like the one with the puffy sleeves best – the flower details add that little extra to them.
