Twisty Girlz Bracelets – REVIEW | AD

Twisty Girlz in box

I remember when I came back from a blogging conference a good couple of years ago with an awesome goody bag. In it was a Twisty Pet from Spinmaster. My eldest knew all about them and was mega happy with it. She deftly showed me how it changed from a bracelet back to a Unicorn and to this day, I struggle with it!! Since then her baby sister has played with it loads and it is just one of those toys that has never got old and the girls have never tired of. When I saw that the range had expanded to Twisty Girlz, I was really keen to see what they would be like and if the girls would be as enraptured!

More About Twisty Girlz

These collectable Twisty Girlz transform from a doll to a collectible bracelet and are aimed at children aged 4 years and over. They RRP at £9.99. They are available at Smyths Toys.

Each pack includes 1 Twisty Girlz Bracelet, 1 Ring, 1 Lead, 1 Instruction Sheet and 1 Collector’s Guide.

Twisty Girlz transform from a stylish doll to bracelet and back again. Simply pull apart the chest and skirt and connect the ends. Then you can wear her as a bracelet! Every Twisty Girlz doll comes with a super cute mystery pet. This is what my eldest looked the most excited over! It could be a unicorn, elephant or puppy! Use the lead to connect your doll and pet or twist the pet into a blingy ring.

As with many collections, you can get rare and super rare girlz and they all have different outfits and hairstyles.

Opening the Product

I’d actually not told the girls were we getting the Twisty Girlz to review, so they were pretty happy when the parcel landed. We were out for the day, so had to promise we could open them up when home.

They are pretty simple! I did find the Twisty Pets a little hard to make into the animal but even I had no issues with the Twisty Girlz. The instructions are really easy to follow and the diagrams are simple and clear.

You do simply just twist at the torso and your Twisty Girl lengthens. You then clip the end to your Girl’z head. And voila a bracelet!

With each of your Twisty Girlz you get a mystery pet in a little box! My eldest got a unicorn and my middley a cat. These can easily be transformed into a ring or pet. You can also connect to your Twisty Girl with a leash, which is included.

Our Thoughts

My eldest in particular, who is 7 was really taken with her Twisty Girl. She easily was able to transform it from girl to bracelet and the teeny mystery pet, she found so cute. She went to stay with her Nan over half-term and it was carefully packed in her suitcase.

They are really attractive and vibrant, with stylish clothes and accessories. I think kids will be drawn to immediately. I like how you can wear as a bracelet but they are easy to play with as dolls too.

I’m not sure my girls would wear the pet as a ring,  as seemed to prefer to play with it more but this will be an individual preference.

It was easy to transform the Twisty Girlz. My 4 year old did need a little help but her older sister was fine and could do alone. They are quite therapeutic to mess around with and hold. My girls did this loads with the Twisty Petz.

The girls have played with their Twisty Girlz lots and I was quite fond of them too!The dolls look pretty cool and I love jewellery too, the bracelets are fab.

Twisty Girlz would make a brilliant stocking filler this Christmas!

These look like the sort of things my girls would love. It’s a great price for a stocking filler too x

These look great and so much fun! I haven’t heard much about them but Olivia is starting to notice more and more toys now she is getting older and has mentioned them a couple of times after seeing them on YouTube so I think she’d love them!

These look like a great idea for a small gift this Christmas. It sounds like they were a hit with the girls too. I will be buying these for a couple of friends daughters.
