Anyone who knows me or reads my blog knows I love fitness. I have done since I started at University when I was 21. I started at the gym and I never looked back. I exercised until I dropped with all 3 of my pregnancies and was back at it as soon as I could. Exercise saved my sanity after my babies and even now, does wonders for my mental health. I could go on all day about how much I love keeping fit and being active but I won’t! Bit of overkill though. The weird thing is for someone who loves exercise and trains a lot, I am pretty useless at buying active wear. Pretty terrible actually. I’m the sort of person who will wear my gym gear, until it is either falling apart or a little too stinky! When I was offered some items from the Composure Collection for women from My Protein, I was over the moon!
Getting new gym gear or activewear feels like such a huge treat doesn’t it? It gives you that gym motivation and you want to keep fit! I love that feeling. You feel good. You look good. All around winner eh?
Composure Collection for Women
I’ve shopped at My Protein many times before; usually to buy whey protein to have a protein shake after training. But there is a HUGE range of products stocked for your training needs. Protein bars, shakers, performance enhancers, vitamins, protein powders…you name it, you are likely to find it.
I wasn’t even aware they did active wear, until approached recently and their products are lovely!
I was sent some items from the new Composure range.
This range consists of soft and supportive yoga leggings,strappy sports bras, and coordinating cover-ups, Composure has been designed for yoga and pilates and draws on mindfulness principles. It incorporates a calming colour palette, and soft-touch fabrics to stimulate the senses.

What I Chose from The Composure Range
I haven’t got any shorts so I decided to go for a pair of shorts and a sports bra.
I chose the Women’s Composure Cycling shorts in rosewater. These retails at £28 and come in sizes extra small to extra large. They come in 2 other colours too!
I then decided to go for a Women’s Composure Sport’s Bra, also in Rosewater. This retails at £22 and again comes in sizes extra small to extra large. It’s great to match for a change. This is something I never do at the gym or when I train.
I then decided to go for a tee to cover up, but this was not in the Composure Range. This was the My Protein Originals Tee in white. It retails at £15 and comes in extra, extra small, up to a large.
I love a slogan tee and it’s perfect as a cover up. I’m more comfortable in a tee in the gym.
I was pretty happy with my clothes when they arrived and dying to use them. I’ve been park training a lot over the second lockdown and wanted to wait until the gym’s opened again to officially use the Composure Collection. Mainly, as I have been coming home so muddy! I knew that lovely Rosewater colour would be brown after one session in the park!
So these photos are in the comfort of my own house.
Trying out The Collection
The Composure Collection was a lovely fit. Really flattering. I’d gone with size small in the majority of it all. It did need a bit of a stretch to get comfy but after wearing for a little while, it felt great. I would therefore say it is true to size.
The material is a lovely quality and a soft feel. It feels “thick” if that makes sense to you as a reader. This was the most evident in the bra top. It is designed for yoga and pilates and therefore, you want to be comfortable, which I was. I could comfortably move around, when I was doing some poses for the photos.
The girls had a laugh with me!
I was really happy with my choices from the Composure Collection for Women. With a choice of colours and style, it is perfect for your yoga and pilates needs. Stylish and comfortable. I also think price-wise it is reasonable for active wear and as the quality is good, I will will last a good while.

I didn’t realise myprotein did clothing. My friend brought me some myprotein flav drops for Christmas as I’m following slimming world and trying to lose weight, they taste AMAZING. I love this gym wear it all looks great and would be a great help to me trying to be more healthy.
