Desenio Prints – **REVIEW**

Desenio Prints – **REVIEW**

I had never heard of Desenio until I saw some fellow bloggers posting some beautiful pictures of their prints, fitting perfectly into their home decor. I was keen to check them out, as the prints looked so original.

When we first moved into our new house 2 years ago, we adored the house and its size but did find the walls quite plain. The people in before us were quite simple in their tastes (or you could argue not full of colour and clutter like us!!).

One of our first jobs was painting the kitchen and we went for a bright yellow colour. There is one area of our kitchen that has just never really felt “finished”. It needed some interesting wall art and this is where Desenio was perfect.

More About Desenio

Desenio offer mainly Scandinavian art designs and they showcase a wide variety of prints and photos. There are thousands of different designs to choose from to personalise your house. They offer affordable wall art for all rooms and occasions, and also offer equally stylish frames and other high-quality accessories at great prices.

There are prints for children, black and white designs, modern art, retro posters and so much more to choose from. Desenio also have creative teams that design unique wall art, to only be found with Desenio exclusively.

I was keen to get browsing!

What Did We Choose From Desenio?

What I liked about the website is there is an “Inspiration” tab and if you click, there is a section for rooms in the house. I went straight to the “kitchen” section and got some ideas.

You could go via the “print” tab though, if you were looking for a specific category, like kid’s posters or nature for example. You can browse frames as well, separately.

I wanted something a little fun and quirky and basically didn’t want my hubby to get a look in, as he always goes for nature prints!

The first image I was drawn to was an “Eggs in a Row” poster. You can see this below. I chose the 30 x 40 cm size which retails at £11.95 and picked a black frame for £12.95 to match. I am obsessed with eggs and have at least one a day for my breakfast, so I knew this one was perfect.

We had decided we wanted three prints so the second I chose was a message that resonates very much with me!! “Give up carbs? Over my bread body” and is called the Over My Bread Body poster. This is sooo me and retailed at £9.95 for a 30 x 40 cm. I chose a white frame on this occasion, as thought would look good, framing the black print.

The final image was for my hubby, as he loves coffee! I chose the Cafe St Regis poster in again 30 x 40 cm for £11.95. I chose another black frame for £12.95 too.

Hanging Our Desenio Prints

The prints arrived and the frames separately and it was really easy just to slot them in their frames. They are very light and hubby decided to use Command Strips to attach them to the wall. This avoids any drilling or nails and no permanent marks to the wall, if you decide to change artwork.

He kindly hung the prints for me whilst I took the eldest to a party!!

This is the result I came home to and I was SO IMPRESSED!

Our Thoughts on the Desenio Prints and The Service

Ordering the Desenio prints was really easy and there was so much choice! I liked their inspiration sections, as it did give me an idea of what I would like before choosing. You are certain to find something you like.

It was easy to select the images and frames and order. Desenio do offer a different service however, where you order and have your products delivered before you pay. You use a system called Klarna and it emails you when to pay and allows items to be sent back if you are not happy. This is good, as you only pay for what you are happy with.

In terms of the quality of the prints, there is nothing I could fault Desenio for. The prints and frames are exactly as displayed online and the images are crisp. I love them and they really make my kitchen now. It looks just as I hoped.

Price-wise I think the images and prints are reasonable for how many prints we ordered and I liked the way we could pay after, especially if not happy with anything.

Overall, I am thrilled with the prints from Desenio. Everything from the choosing to receiving to paying was great and I would thoroughly recommend!!
