My Daughter’s 7th Birthday with Moonpig | AD

I knew my daughter’s 7th birthday was going to be different this year, still fun with birthday cards but a little different. Luckily we have been out of full lockdown for a little while now but despite that, things we still not going to the same. Usually we have a family and friend’s party for her at the weekend. A Birthday with Moonpig

My eldest’s birthday fell this year on a Wednesday, my hubby decided to take the day off work and my Mum was also going to come over. She was meant to have a friend to sleep over the Monday prior but unfortunately she wasn’t too well, so her friend came over on the day instead.

We have a tradition, as many families do, of coming downstairs to see birthday decorations and presents! It’s the most exciting bit. Moonpig can really help to make this special with their birthday gifts your daughter section.

We were kindly sent a selection of amazing gifts my daughter loved. A unicorn balloon was included in this but my crazy 18 month old got his hands on it before I could photograph it! Typical.

Her Birthday

The day was lovely. We had her friend round and all went into town for lunch. All they wanted to do was come home after, play and spend time together. So that’s what they did. After not seeing her friends during lockdown much, this was all she needed. They watched a film and enjoyed some treats.

We sang happy birthday with cake and she said she’d really had a good day. This is all that matters. I knew this year we couldn’t have a massive party; sadly her sleepover had to be cancelled but it didn’t matter. She still had a wonderful time.
