Ryan’s World Panda Head Playset – REVIEW | AD

Ryan’s World Panda Head Playset – REVIEW | AD

I actually do think I’ve been hidden under a rock for a little while, as I wasn’t sure who Ryan was from Ryan’s World! We were offered a piece of blog work and I had to go and ask my eldest first! Of course she knew who he was. She subscribes to his YouTube channel and told me he does some really cool challenges.  After doing my own digging around of course I discovered Ryan’s World is a children’s YouTube channel featuring Ryan Kaji, who is nine years old. His mother, father, and twin sisters are involved too and the channel usually releases a new video every day. It is a hugely popular channel with over 27 million subscribers and there are plenty of educational videos, reviews and fun with his family. As the channel is so popular, with even its own animation; there are Ryan’s World toys on sale too. My girls were completely thrilled to receive the Ryan’s World Panda Head Playset to review. I have to admit this looked pretty cool and I hid it from the girls, as I knew they would be all over it!

Ryan’s World Panda Head Playset – More About the Product

The Ryan’s World Panda Head Playset is just waiting to be unboxed! It is aimed at children aged 3 years and over and is currently £35.99.

You start with a code sheet that you must use to decode and unlock the panda head. Once decoded inside you will find the first mystery box! You reveal an item and find the coin to scratch and reveal the next code to open the next secret compartment.

Open the second mystery box to reveal another toy and find the key to open the final spy compartment. Once you unbox the final piece and set up the action launcher, its time to go on a super spy adventure with Ryan!

Time to Unbox The Panda Head Playset

My first thoughts about the product was it is big!!! The girls were champing at the bit to open it. Getting it out of the box was the usual ripping of sellotape (or cutting if you are sensible) and unscrewing plastic screws on the bottom. You do need scissors to cut the tag so you can start the unboxing process.

We were ready to go!

Th instructions are really clear and we could follow them easily.

Ryan’s World Combo Panda Head Code – How to Open the Head

The first thing we needed to do with use the code sheet to find out what numbers we needed to open the first part of the Combo Panda Head.

The Combo Panda Head Code is pretty easy to find using the special filter to look through. You can see this below. It shows the numbers you need to open the Ryan’s World Panda Head.

As you can see it was easy to do and my eldest got the numbers on the side of the Panda head ready.

We could then open the head to reveal the first mystery box! The girls did need help doing this as you have to press the sides at the same time!

Inside the first surprise was revealed. Ryan on his bike! You have to put this together yourself. There is also a special coin too!

The next stage was to open the “safe”. The instructions clearly said first to 90 clockwise and then to 60 anti-clockwise, so we did this and were able to open to find the next mystery box!

You can see underneath is the key for the next stage!

In the second mystery box, there is a drone and a stand for it! Also a stamp you can use when doing crafts! I realise I didn’t get a picture of this but you can see the drone in later pictures.

The key is turned to the left and pulled to open another level and Mystery box in the playset.

Inside this box is a car with a Mini Ryan and in the final section of the Ryan’s World Panda Head Playset is the a little track and car launcher, a traffic cone and traffic lights.

You can then easily set it up in the Playset. You can see the drone below and the track and launcher.

You can then launch the car out and it fires out of the end! The girls loved this and then they were set for some fun with the playset!

The only issue me eldest said, as you can see below, is she struggled to get the playset to stand up! She needed to hold it, until it stood up!

Our Overall Thoughts

The girls did absolutely love this product I have to say. The unboxing was really fun. They did need to be patient and they did need me to help them read through the instructions to make sure they were doing everything right! Once I had explained everything to my eldest daughter she was fine and could open each part of the Panda Head to reveal the next surprise. She did need a little help with some of the opening, as I mentioned above.

Once they had completed the unboxing they did play with the Panda Head for ages; especially my middle daughter and her baby brother, once he came along. He is not two years old yet but he adores cars and vehicles, so he loved the launcher.

Other pros include: batteries are not needed, there is no building of the the product and it isn’t too complicated which is great for a Christmas morning, if received as a gift.

The Panda Head is however very plastic heavy. It is huge and if this is something you don’t like, it won’t be for you. The packaging, however can be recycled which is a plus.

I will have to see in time, if my little ones continue to play. Like many products nowadays, the unboxing and surprise element can be the most exciting part. We have had products in the past which have been abandoned after. As this product retails at £45.99 usually, it is not the cheapest and you would want your child to play afterwards. Definitely weigh this up when buying it.

However, there is plenty of potential, as you can use the upper part of the Panda Head for imaginative play and the car launcher will bring lots of fun, especially for car-lovings kids! My girls like imaginative play and role play so they loved the little toys that were included in the mystery boxes. My girls did need a little help re-opening it when they had shut it back up!

Overall we all really enjoyed opening the Ryan’s World Panda Head Playset. It was exciting, easy to follow the instructions and the girls really enjoyed playing with the set after. As mentioned, it is a big toy and a big purchase and it would be one I’d be 100% sure my kids want before buying.

Such a cool looking toy, but I have absolutely no idea what/who Ryan’s World is. Does that make me old and out of touch, eek!
